The 11 am swim time sounds WONDERful. That will actually work out great for us. My little one can play at Scuttles and my DH can swim out and I can take pictures!!! :cool1:

I too would like to see the wreak...I'll check with the wife and see if she will watch our "little man" (Josh).

We also have a coulples massage at 1:00

I will let my wife rest and I will play with Josh after the massage, that plan should work... :thumbsup2

Last year on the May repo cruise, DH & I did the snorkel with Scott & Lynn, while our DD was in the kids club on the island...not sure how old Josh is, but try the kids club! Quincy didn't want to leave the activities on the island! So cute! :cloud9:

I would come out, but I too will have to get one of those bumper boats CaptainCrash was talking about. I can swim, but I'm not that great a swimmer.

Sorry that I haven't posted much in the last day. Kathy had an aunt and a cousin to both die yesterday. Things have been a little hectic what with two deaths in her family on the same day. Mike

I am so sorry for your family. Please let Kathy know our thoughts and sympathy are with you. I can't even begin to imagine what your family is going through.

Time to go home. Talk to you guys in a few hours. I think hubby and I are going out for sushi tonight, yum. :goodvibes :thumbsup2

A few years back Lynn and I found a wreck a little over .5 miles off the adult beach at CC. It is in shallow water and depending on the tide visable from shore, if ya know where to look. I marked it with my GPS so it is easy to find.

This is for strong swimmers only, who are cumfy being aways off shore in open water. Could be a very rough swim if conditions are not right. On our last cruise (DVC Member Cruise) we swam out in 3-6 ft seas, one of those easy swims out and the return was harder due to wind.

I know we will swim out for sure.

Here is a photo.

I still have a couple of extra mugs, if we have any room I'll bring them along. maybe they could be prizes for any one of the events. again, that's IF we have any room in our bags... :goodvibes

How much were yours and which colors do you have?? I might have a use for ONE as I have already bought a pair of Bubba Mugs for Mickey Ice Cream Bar Race trophies... but I was about to divide the race into 3 catagories. My dear daughter pointed out that she does not eat Mickey bars vbery fast so ... ... being in charge of the event I was considering making 3 competitive groups .... age 15+.... age 7-14 then zero to 6. Heh-hee-heh... she DOES have a point that the younger kids have little chance against a serious teenager in finishing off a Micky Bar 1st!

My DNana would also like a new category. Otherwise known as the slow eaters that like their ice cream melted category. I call it the geritol category!

So - if we have a DH that doesn't eat Mickey Bars, could we enter them in the zero to 6 category and eat theirs instead - just so we could have a Mickey Bar with friends? :teeth:

I have a great deal for you.

Unlike the REST of this crowd - I actually am HAVING a birthday on this cruise! :thumbsup2

I'll rent it out - real cheap. :teeth:

All you have to do is ask me by your table, order the dessert of choice - and I'll eat it! :rotfl2: Okay, so maybe I'll share... :grouphug:

Seriously though - I looked at the birthday club and there are a kazillion people with birthday's on the 24th (not me though, I'm special and in a class by myself). Should we possibly have a REAL birthday party for all of us? ummm, I meant them - yeah, that's it, them - the other ones - the ones besides me that are also having a birthday! :teeth: So = a birthday celebration at sea?

Ideas?

Hee hee hee! I made it to the top of the page - and all because everyone else is sleeping or has a life or is busy or doesn't care or is tired because they posted ten million times to get to 8500 and don't have any words left.

Doesn't matter - I made it to the top of the page! :thumbsup2

OK... you GOT it! We'll have an Official combination age zero to six and "Leisure" Challenge catagory! I will be the arbitor of who can enter this exclusive elite cagtagory of competition... after all... I have to make sure my little girl has a chance against her otherwise above age 7 competitors! :lmao:

Seriously, if anyone wants to compete on a LEISURELY basis ... they are welcome to enter any of the 3 proposed catagories. However, a leisure competitor would ONLY have a fighting chance against an under 7 year old!

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

AND on another note... we do NEED more competitors under the age of 15 to step forward --- or we need their parents to consider entering their youngin's into the fray!

DONE! My DNana Barbara will be glad to participate in this particular category. She will include my DD Christina. In the meantime, DMe ( :teeth: ) will be busily enjoing a massage and beverage of the day! Now just when is this event? I need to book that massage!

Welcome Sweet Sue to ....

... the Dark side. As you can see, it feels JUST like the "other" side where all those sissy Jedi reside. Now... if we could only get a crowd rolling here and put on some speed for 8600! Plus... we need to somehow engineer the overthrow of the Emporer Darth Scott ... er, rather Darth Sideous. He's looking unassailable however as his thread count is just about 1,000 (actually 972 at the moment)! SHoot... I'm just stalking along at a whimpy 256 - or 257 after this little contribution!).

Just finished dinner. Had Strawberries and Cream Pepsi Jazz for dessert. :teeth:

Hey Peter, do you know anybody going to the concert at Tweeter Center in Boston?
Rest of us have to listen to Radio Margaritaville

Is anyone taking their grass skirt in their carryon day bag? I don't know for sure if our suitcases will be in our rooms in time for the sailaway party.

Bob's grass skirt will be in our checked luggage. WE have never had a problem getting all our luggage delivered to room before sailaway party. We usually have it before lifeboat drill.

This reminded me. For those who are planning to send your wine to the ship ahead of time, it is probably better to use UPS. The post office will not ship wine or liquids (if you tell them that's what it is). Anyone have any experience shipping stuff to the ship? Does it arrive in your cabin before sailaway?

Before the panama cruise we shipped 4 large boxes via USPS, alcohol and stateroom gifts, etc. All made it just fine and was in the room when we arrived. We use usps for alcohol all the time, just don't tell them what's in it. Always just have them mark it fragile.
