Bethe...
to insert a picture you type IMG with brackets ... like this
.
You can use your own images IF you upload them to a web host like photobucket - which is FREE. That is another can of worms - but not that complicated once you've followed the directions. I do not use photbucket - although I should given the bandwidth problems I am having with the host I am PAYING for... dotphoto.com.
Alternatively... you can SKIP using your photos and just use images that are already posted on the web! Yeah... you can rip off (borrow) almost any image that you find on the web! Just right click over any image and select "properties". In the middle of the pop up window is a URL line. Copy it and use that! Just be sure the image you are using is the RIGHT SIZE for your purposes. I think something about 400x300 pixels shows nicely. Anything under 150x150 is a postage stamp and hard to make out.
FOr example ... look at the page from
DCL for St Kitts...
http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/dcl/en_US/ports/spDetail?name=StKittsLandingPage
ANd I am going to "borrow" the St Kitts image with a right click... copy the URL from the properties window. I expect the image to be the same size as it appeared in the DCL page. Here it is....
Oh yeah... you want URL addresses with a JPG ending... and you want to use the click and drag to select - and probably a control "C" to copy and a control "V" to insert. Saves a lot of tedius typiing and copying character by character.
I hope this helps. If not - please feel free to post more specific questions that address the point at which you are bogging down. I am running out for some errands before the store closes at 10PM. I'll be back to lurk later tonight... as usual. COme satuurday I will be out of town and off line a lot more!
TTFN!
