I'm not sure if we have any golfers on our thread, but I wanted to let you know that this weekend's PGA tournament, The Canadian Open is taking place at The Hamilton Golf and Country Club which is located not far from my home.

Well at least you can sleep on the plane. I like the early morning flights. On days we have to travel, I like to get it over with so we can get on with the fun.

Club? What club are we talking about? I thougt we had a SECRET SOCIETY going here!?!?!? Oooopps - I let the cat out of the bag... (now there's one image I could have searched for)... at any rate, I am not seeking any general membership. I am just looking for a little fun first, and 2nd I am just another bloke in the crowd with something to toss in from the balcony where the common folks reside (yup - the peanut gallery).

I'm not sure!! What do you all suggest? I can bring them to the DIS send off, and then the ones that I don't get delivered there I can give to Guest Services to deliver? Or I can deliver a bit everyday into the fish extenders... Please make sure that your room # is posted on the roster. Does anyone want to help me deliver??

Evening all! We are currently in Kansas City, MO (actually a little area called Shawnee). Our load drops here and we pick up a load tonight that goes all the way to Portland, Oregon. Then we are MIAMI bound! I haven't been to Miami in a while! After Miami we are Alabama bound! Then we are CRUISE BOUND! I have ants in my pants and am ready to get home.
I am having a hard time driving with my wounded finger. Kevin didn't think it was cut that bad until today. VERY deep cut. I should've gone to the ER to make sure I didn't need stitches! And since I'm such a germaphobe, all I'm thinking about is how it needs to hurry up and heal so I won't catch some nasty infection on the germ infested cruise ship. I also use hand sanitizer religiously and now I can't.
Anyhoo, I am SO ready for this vacation!
Tracy, I bet you are SUPER excited to leave! I know I would be! You are almost there We'll be thinking about you Saturday morning!
Elaine, I'm not a golfer, but that's KEWL. My dh's ex-BIL works at White Oak Plantation in Jacksonville, FL. DS16 Alex gets to golf there as Kev's ex-BIL is the Superintendant of the club. He has also designed several courses nation wide. It's a pretty nice place. Alex has met several famous people there while golfing with his cousin. Herb, the ex-BIL, is good friends with Micheal Barishnikov (i know I SLAUGHTERED his name). Alex says he's pretty KEWL for a ballet dancer (and a pretty good golfer as well!) I found this interesting as I had a poster of Barishnikov on my wall throughout my ENTIRE 16 years of dance training. Small world after all, eh? I would love to meet him one day.

Yes, I'm still going and I'm very sorry for being MIA for such a long time. I'm really looking forward to meeting some of you for the first time, and to be reunited with my "repo" buddies.

Got my docs, got an upgrade, now all I have to do is pack.

I'm so happy to see SOMEBODY in our group getting an upgrade! Frankly, from what I can tell DCL has all sorts of unsold capacity on the two special Southern sailings. So - I am watching with curiosity as to how they manage the unsold cabins. And more so - how it might present opportunities for embarked enthusiasts like ourselves.​
