They showed Miami on the news here in Canada and all the goofballs surfing...

Yep, just waiting for the next update. Looks like they are taking away the tropical storm warning and the hurricane watch. Nothing is really going on at all with the weather here. They are even putting the regular evening programming back on the television.

Anything good on TV tonight, Cheryl??? :happytv:

Does anyone have the phone number to the Radisson handy? I almost forgot to call and cancel our reservation! Glad it appears our FL friends have dodged Ernesto. I hope it doesn't hit Jacksonville area-that's where our kids are :sunny:

so true - we rode down to The Pier at Lauderdale by the Sea and you wouldn't believe the people surfing - crazy people

lots of people flying kites also - I have a couple left from the last couple of cruises and wish I would have taken them with us

PIT,

I am in the Jacksonville area and we are suppose to get some rain and wind starting tomorrow evening. But nothing severe. We NEED the rain, last count we were 8" below norm. I'm surprised we haven't had more fires this summer. What area of Jacksonville are the kids located?

Carol

GO JAGS!!!!

hmm, maybe I shoul;d do one of those things where I have my jersey on underneath and then excuse myself, then keep going back and forth between commercial breaks.... :thumbsup2

could you imagine though if I forget and start waving my terrible towel in the middle of Palo's???

I got it, I'll just whoop it up for the chef!! Way to go buddy...this meal is delicious!!!!

I think she'll know better though, she's a clever girl....

They actually live in St. Mary's, GA but go to Jacksonville frequently. I just worry about Amber driving (she's 19, not a very experienced driver in bad weather). Alex went to a Jags game this past weekend and sat in the box seats! :goodvibes His mom's (I'm the stepmonster) boyfriend owns the small airport in Kingsland and someone who keeps their plane there has season tickets, box seats. Alex had a blast! We call St. Mary's the Armpit of America. We usually meet the kids in Jacksonville to see them. More stuff to do. We always take them to Dave and Busters there.

Good to hear. Hopefully, it will just weaken and blow on by.

Unfortunately, we are getting the rain. Not a lot, but just enough to keep things damp. Grass will be high by the time it drys out.

Should be great weather for the weekend. Football time!

Ivan, my wife and I have 7:00 res. at Palo's on Monday, maybe if we asked to be seated by each other, we could get the wives talking and maybe they want notice if we both have to go to the "restroom" :smooth: :smooth: Hey, it works for girls, they always go together. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I have been a Steelers fan ever since Lynn Swann and John Stalworth used to catch all those passes from Terry Bradshaw.... :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

:3dglasses We saw 2 GREAT movies yesterday. :3dglasses popcorn::

Little Miss Sunshine (Rated R)- This was a movie about LIFE. Ups, downs, and all of the funnies along the way. Olive (the little girl in the movie) was GREAT. Also Steve Carrell was hilarious. This one is not for kids, obviously from the rating, but also not for people who don't like hearing the F-Bomb. I'm not a prude, but I don't like it when movies take a turn that is really unnecessary. This movie could have easily gotten a PG-13 rating if not for the frequent use of that word  All in all, I would highly recommend this movie if you can get past the language, I laughed-I cried, I left satisfied! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Invincible (Rated PG)- We have anticipated the release of this movie ever since we saw the trailer for the first time. Mark Walberg did a FANTASTIC JOB! I didn't know ANYTHING about Vince Papale, and this movie did what Disney does best- provide a movie suitable for families that showcases a person that can inspire us all in daily life. Ok, I'm a sap- I boo-hoo'd on this one (but I still cry every time I see Rudy). I would highly recommend this movie to anyone with sons (little girls might be very bored) or anyone with a love of football. This would be a great one to see on the ship! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Back to your regularly scheduled posting........
Thanks for the reviews...I plan on see "Invicible" on the ship.

BTW, I read where you have lost 19 lbs, GREAT JOB :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc I just hope Mr. Incredible (Kev) will be able to handle all the looks you will be getting in your LBD :bitelip: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Took DW shopping today for her new formal dresses...SHE FOUND BOTH AT THE SAME STORE AND THEY WERE ON SALE. :teacher: :teacher: :teacher: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: All I can say is "yes Virginia, there is a Santa Clause" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OK, ya'll are starting to give me a complex....WHERE IS EVERYONE?

What, is it my breath or something.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have a question for people who have done the Secret Mickey before....should we be purchasing "smaller" items that would fit in the fish extender? If we do select a larger item....what did you do with it to ensure that it didn't "grow legs" and "walk away" before your SM gets back to his/her stateroom?????

Just out of curiousity...was the store the Dress Barn???? I always seem to find get dresses there...and I've never paid full price for one yet!!!!
