I started the post card thing and the Christmas tree ornaments. When I travel I always buy postcards and write a message telling me about the day/experience and then I mail them to myself. This really keeps the souvenir packing light. I have plans to actually decorate a portion of a wall in my office with them. And, then with the Christmas ornaments I just buy one from every destination and then hang them on the tree at Christmas. It is fun to read the message or remember where I got it.Scott H said:Tracy are you going on a cruise before this one???![]()
I seem to recall Leslie reacting to your plans.

Rainy day here will be a movie day I think, starting with Hatari one of my favorites.
Ok so here is a question for discussion
As some of our travels require us to travel very light, what are some souvenirs you procure when restricted. We did pins for a while, then for me I have collected patches from various places, small and light. Then when I get home I go to Walmart and buy a cheap ball cap and have Lynn sew it on. Got a hat for about $6-8 rather than the $15-20.
Anyone have other ideas to share.

Advanced is fun to take. Especially here in Florida where the weather is warm and the fishes are plentiful. It is good to have too since many dive ops have started to require it for some of their dives, that used to be OW okay. Lamar has been diving for years on open water and has LOTS of dives and they started giving him a hard time about it this year in the keys. He took a one on one with a friend to get it out of the way.

Just giving Peter a hard time.
I'm married to an engineer. We need a vacation just so I don't picture the love of my life with a PDA, phone, clipboard and all manner of diagrams I cannot fathom everywhere. Thank heaven he doesn't work from home much. He has a whole lab at work to play with so I think it's more fun there.
We were problem solving this morning and I thought I was in an Engineering Process meeting. What is our objective. What is our timeline. What are our resources. When will we meet again to assess our progress towards our goal and reassess our needs at that time.It does works for us though.
