On yet another note (because I'm bored to tears) where is everyone finding swords for pirate night? I need to check the party store again but Disney Store was SOLD OUT! They did have the cutest costumes for kids-Davy Jones was the most impressive with a hat that recreated the tentacles. Very KEWL! Kevin has his costume, I have mine- everything is coming together nicely! :woohoo: So far....

We got ours when McDonalds had the pirate happy meals. One advantage of being the grand daughter's baby sitter. :rotfl2: :lmao: Mike

That is if you call DCL.. and add on before the cruise !! You simply pay the differnce in the price !!

Now on the day of the cruise, at the port the 2k upgrade can be had for alot less. :teeth: :lmao:

If anyone would like a cat 3, 4 about 4k more Give them a call!! :teeth:

Heard there might be one not Sure !! :confused3

I just don't think for us personally a verandah room is needed. We stayed a deluxe family verandah room the first cruise we ever took with the kids and spent WAY too much money as we were NEVER in the room! When Kev and I cruise alone we are REALLY never in the room.
I will, however, have a bit of a dillema next september when we take my grandparents DCL-ing for labor day. They both smoke so I'm stuck with the ??? of making them truck it up to deck to smoke or getting them a verandah room. DCL doesn't have smoking rooms do they? They are chain smokers, unfortunately :sad2:

Why didn't I think of that! :rotfl2: I spent all my brain trying to understand Peter's answer. :confused3 Is it Physics, Is it Geology. Is is BS. Noooo. Peter understands dirt.

I believe it is that Peter is an engineer?? (Atleast I think he is a civil engineer- could be wrong) Engineers have weird thought processes, esp. chemical engineers.

With Kev, I mean !!! :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Will hide the key to her room in the Fish extender .. :lmao:

 I had lunch envy after talking to Peter, so I made Robb take to the Lonestar Steak house. I haven't eaten that much for a long time and now I feel sick. :rotfl: I don't think I'm going to be able to eat as much as I have on past cruises....which is probably a good thing.

Scott- I got my open water Padi card today. Almost as good as documents....still don't have those. I may take the advanced diving class prior to the cruise, we'll see. Our local dive shop is putting together a trip to FL for lobstering and I really, really want to go. (Adv. is required/strongly suggested)

I'm sitting here in my running clothes- trying to get the courage up to go downstairs after that large meal.

I also found my headset for skype- I don't know why I bought this a few years ago??? I called Robb's cell phone on it. Pretty cool.

Well, since nobody is here- I think I'll go hit the treadmill and watch Bench Warmers.

Hi Celeste,

Just giving Peter a hard time.

I'm married to an engineer. We need a vacation just so I don't picture the love of my life with a PDA, phone, clipboard and all manner of diagrams I cannot fathom everywhere. Thank heaven he doesn't work from home much. He has a whole lab at work to play with so I think it's more fun there.

We were problem solving this morning and I thought I was in an Engineering Process meeting. What is our objective. What is our timeline. What are our resources. When will we meet again to assess our progress towards our goal and reassess our needs at that time. :woohoo: It does works for us though.

Hey cruise friends. I hope everyone is getting ready for the start of their trip. I am ready to be cruise thread keeper to the lanyard people.

For those that remember my shark phobia, I am proud to announce that I am no longer phobic. I jumped into the ocean with at least 30 sharks on Tuesday with Stuart Cove's in Nassau. I will have pictures to share when I get my underwater camera developed in a few days.

I need to find the tag fairy so I can have a new tag.

And an FYI, the bubba mug worked great in the heat. My drink was chilly for hours.

Lynn scored big today, went out to do some shopping and a local sporting good store was have a year end sale. She got two pairs of crocs for 40% off, conveniently did not have her wallet so I was nice and got them for her.

I better get posting if I don’t want Tracy to pass me up.

Making veggie soup for diner tonight on the cold wet day.

Scott, this was your chance. I've been gone all day.

ETA: Well lookie, lookie I got 13,500!! :cheer2: :cheer2:

Well, it's off to a retiree function. Kinda neat seeing the old guys. The food is not all that great and it doesn't last all that long but it is nice.

Looks like I will miss page 900. Kinda figure Tracy will be posting again soon trying to increase her lead on me. :sad1:

Everyone have a great evening.

I'm sorry Bob... Do you want me to quit posting so you can catch up? :confused3

Peter & Jenn- if we have a connecting room then when I get tired of Kevin I can just send him on over! :rotfl2: Then if I get really tired of him we can go to Tracy's VERANDAH room and just heave him on over the edge :lmao: Not really, we are together so much we never get tired of each other. Weird, huh?

I think your secret deck 7 verandah is a little closer than mine so throw him over there :lmao: :rotfl2:

just a lil gripe :furious: or maybe I'm not doing it right, but is there someway to save your reservation under your profile on the disney site? You think they would have some way to bring it up automatically instead of having to put in your reservation number every time you want to look at it...or then again maybe there is someway to do this that I am not aware of.... :confused3

If you have your browser set to save info you input, you can double click on the place for your ressie number and a pop down list will come up with your ressie number(s) in it :goodvibes
