Mexico for the watermelon water, made it at home once and it was a mess to make. I think it is China that has a coconut tart, and chicken skewers. Lynn likes the lamb; I can’t bear the thought of eating Lambert’s buddies. We like the Asian offerings. This is where we discovered the Mango Wine.

We are Food People love to try anything to do with it !! :teeth:

Good morning!! How's work going Celeste??

More shopping for us today, since I didn't get any done yesterday! :teeth: Michael is driving our oldest DD and all her stuff to Santa Barbara for school starting Monday. Q & I are attending a benefit this afternoon..."Cause for the Paws" benefiting the Napa humane society. DH is a little worried to what he will be coming home to. I happened to mention there was a silent auction for wine, vacations, etc. Q is excited to see all the animals, maybe we'll be bringing home a special new someone for her!! :wizard:

Have a great day everyone!! :cheer2:

I broke the internet :lmao: :rotfl2: My connection to the outside world went down last night. Not exactly sure what to do about it so I had to wait for Bill to get up this morning. Almost had some withdrawal there!
Wondered what happened Tracy... tried to reconnect to you but got nothing.. I figured you got tired and fell asleep..... :rotfl:

Laurie- work is pretty good taking care of two patients with subdural hematomas today- one is 72 and the other is 23. The 23 year old got his due to being hit with a bat- I told him he might want to avoid getting hit in the head with a bat in the future. My other guy is ventilated- so he isn't talking. I can't complain- two pretty good patients.

Scott- The guy with the renal failure and angio is on the floor. He is still requiring dialysis, but is able to maintain his blood pressure on his own- which is pretty good. The guy with the GI issues is now trached, but is stable overall. Unfortunately it doesn't look like he will really have any quality of life and will spend the rest of his days in a nursing home and a vent. :guilty: Probably a persistent vegatative state.

I thought everyone would be interested in the roundtable discussion that was on the disboards podcast earlier this week, there is lots of information related to the differences between the Wonder & the Magic and info on the upcoming WDW packages that are good between now and December 23rd. There is also video of the Pirates in the Carribean party on the Wonder. I thought I would post the link because more people will enjoy listening to the podcast. You should be able to listen to it without having Itunes on your computer...just push the listen now button. I believe the links on the right are for subscribing either by Itunes or RSS feeds.

Tracy: My sons in law actually plan their own separate stragegies to eat their way around the world and complete. It's pretty funny what they do. We take our own entertainment with us.

Tony, are you going to any of the wineries up there? There is one down by the fisherman's wharf are that makes a late Harvest Symphony. I absolutely love that

We don't drink, so it's kinda lost on us. Martinelli's is about as hard as we ever get.

But, that did answer a question for me.... Thank you!

Welcome Aboard - :cheer2: :welcome: I noticed you just had one post...so I am assuming you just joined the cruise! I think Peter already answered the question. You can try a PM to her though...never hurts to try, eh?

We are on the "waiting list" for the DIS brunch crew too. Maybe we could get all of that want to join that didn't get in to make a reservation together? It wouldn't be the private room (unless there is still another day that the private room is available), but we could still gather a group.

I wouldn't mind going as a private duty nurse.... :rotfl2:
Lynn and I kept hoping for the person who wants us to teach them SCUBA and take us on a trip with them. Have taught some pretty $$$$$ folks but no offer yet nor do I ever think there will be, but it is nice to dream. Lynn one time asked a student if his watch was water proof, it was a Rolex gold president model. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Do tell more, could be interesting.

Dogs walked and house kinda cleaned. Fog burned off and no snow up high.

PINS?? Did somebody mention PINS?? Yes, I have a few thousand or so... and they were light, inexpensive souvenirs until that Giant JUMBO REPO CRUISE thing came along.... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
I like patches too Scott.. have tons of them but don't know what to do with them!!! Thought about a corkboard kind of thing but I am running out of wall space.
We've been buying decks of cards on most trips too. We play cards usually at least once every week or two with friends and using all the different decks over time reminds us of our travels. I always like to buy a Christmas ornament from the places too and do a "travel tree"

Idea for patches - DH is very involved in Boy Scouts and I was too for awhile (stopped after Cubs) so we had lots of patches from events as well as trading with other scouters. I was going to get a plain fleece throw/blanket and sew them on to that. Just a thought.....

That is a very good idea for patches, for someone who was really talented and industrious, you could make them into a quilt!
Lynn

We buy fridge magnets from each place we visit....of course now with the new fridge due to arrive soon...guess all our magnets will end up on the "beer" fridge in the basement!!!!

First to the right, then to the left, then from the back, then from the front.........can you tell we LOVE F&W ?!?!?!?!?! Of course last year was mostly drinking my way around the world. New Zealand, in their infinite wisdom, did NOT offer the killer lamb chops they'd had the past 4 years. I really, really, really need my lamb chop fix this year :stir:
