I have a question for you. On another thread you posted about Key West and the golf carts you can rent to drive around. We are cruising on the Magic on December 30th and are trying to figure out what to do in Key West. This sounds like it would be fun! Any other suggestions? How many people do they hold?

Peter....the quality of the video isn't that great...I shot it with my digital camera....mostly so Mom could see it....you can hear people laughing and talking and it gets quite shaky at a certain part because I was laughing so hard.....plus....Brent would KILL me....

Umm...have you ever considered using a different screen name for the utube account??

How would he know it was you? I'm sure they are busy reading the DVC cruise thread now.

I cannot give any computer advice on how to upload this video...but I want to see it too.....After his performance, I could not even look at him seriously...thank God, it was at the end of the cruise.. He was a very cute ballerina as was Hollywood, but Brent's performance still makes me laugh... the look on his face was worth a million dollars..

Hey Pete, I must have missed your performance as a teapot, but Tom and I were there.. that was flubber day right?? Tommy made flubber, just ask Elaine and Leslie and the other lady that was frightened to sit beside him on the runaway van.

Even though I am still rocking, I told Tom if you all cruising again, I want to know when and where and if he does not want to go, I will find someone that does.. Oh Regina??????????

Sorry you're still rocking, I did a little today- my cold has my ears clogged up- but I mainly ignore it.

BTW- welcome to the lanyard club...we should start booking blocks of rooms with DCL for better rates.

Thanks Celeste on the welcome to the Lanyard Club.....I am going to try acupuncture...ok, try not to laugh, but I am thinking the last time it just ran its course.. over 3 weeks.. this time I am thinking I am going to try something else since the meclizine will not work.. and I think my whole immune system needs a good boost.. I will let you know if it works.

I want to go to Italy, Peter, but I am thinking Tom and I will do Tauck Tours rather than a cruise.. I really want to see Italy....although I did suggest it to him...he is such a party pooper sometimes....not always..

Acupuncture might work- won't hurt to try. Have you seen your doc? I have heard that a little bit of Ativan can also help with vertigo. If all else fails- go see an ear, nose, and throat person.

Hi everyone,

Long story for any of you who were wondering what was up with my arm:

When my plane touched down in Seattle a week ago, I was on the phone with my clinic before we got to the gate. It had been almost two weeks since my fall at Palo and I wanted to know why I was still in so much pain, despite all the meds I was taking (Celebrex by day and hydracodone by night -- my own meds I had brought along in case of an emergency flare up of my past back problems).

My doc wasn't in that day, so went to the walk-in clinic that afternoon, had an x-ray, nothing found. Walk-in doc had me do this and that, and as I was able to do all (although slowly and with enough pain to make me cry) he declared that nothing was broken and but I might need some physical therapy. Stupid doctor. I had a melt-down in the exam room and demanded they find out what was causing my pain. So an MRI was scheduled for Wednesday the 11th, and when I complained about that, they put me on the "cancellation list." Got a call Friday about a cancellation Saturday morning at 7:15, so had the MRI done then.

Got a call from the clinic this afternoon with the results of my MRI. I have a torn tendon and a fractured bone in my shoulder, something called the "greater tuberosity." And an appt with an ortho guy for next Monday. The nurse practioner who called me is the same one who checked me into the walk-in clinic a week ago and she said, "You were right." I told them something was broken, just as I had told the doctors on the Wonder who diagnosed my problem as a "contusion." She asked if I had been wearing my sling and I said no, because all the docs had said I didn't need to wear it and I found myself taking it off and putting it on too many times a day.

So she said I need to wear the sling. Tomorrow will be three weeks since I fell at Palo. I put my sling back on.

Harry and I will be atWDW from 11/24 until 12/3 when we cruise on the Wonder again (Mousefest cruise).

Wow Beth, Sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with the arm. I remember our conversation on the ship. You surely need to be your own advocate. Keep us posted on your progress. I hope they are going to help you manage the pain. Pain has a way of ruining your best days. We'll be praying for you.

Thanks, Dianna. I know you understand. Isn't that shoulder MRI just a bunch of fun? (sorry for the sarcasm) I actually don't remember what conversation you are referring to -- I feel like I was only half there most of the time, probably because of the pain meds.

I did my very best to have the great cruise I'd planned for for 13 months, but, you're right, pain has a way of ruining even the best days. I still managed to have fun, even swam with the turtles, albeit one-armed. My injured arm actually felt best when in the ocean.

The hardest part about this is that I was thankful to finally be free of the back pain I'd had for 3+ years. I will hold onto the hope that this will be a short-term thing and I will be 100% for our 4 day Mousefest cruise in December.

I was happy to read your post about being pain-free! I hope it continues forever!
