Someone please explain to me how to use the 'dancing bananas', 'jumping smilings', all the fun icons to show on my post...PLEASE DO IT SLOWLY, you all know I'm from Alabama, so type S L O W LY.

Hey, if you can't make fun of yourself....what's the point?

I S T H I S S L O W E N O U G H ? ? ? ?

You need to use the post reply button just below the last post on a page or quote button on a particular post in order to use the smilies (dancing banana, etc.). This will pull up a new screen with a window to type in. On the right side of the window will be a set of smilies. Youi simply click on the one you want :hourglass and a code appears (in this case ":hourglass" without the quotes appears). If you don't see one you want, click on the link [More] at the bottom and more will appear.

Hope this helps.

We're going to have breakfast on Saturday on the MAGIC!!!!!!! then pick up Hygiene99 at the airport, Celebration and then OKW for the Wine & Cheese meet. We'll be back at the port on Sunday to drop off the car and meet all of you :thumbsup2

Back to the newsletter!

I love to cruise, but I don't know if I could handle 18 DAYS...they would have to use a fork lift just to get ME off the ship, there is way to much food.

Wow it's been a long time since I have been on the board! There is way too much to read. I am not sure if anyone has done this but... has anyone tried to get the $100 credit for AP holders? We were given a fax number which we sent copies of our passes too. I am wondering if anyone else has done it. Thanks for the help!!! :sunny:

What is everyone doing the day before? I know about Scott's Wine and Cheese meet and the Rad. meet and the Celebration tour...but what about everyone else. As for us, we will be driving down Sat. morning to WDW, we have res. at the POP CENTURY. We are planning on going to DOWNTOWN Disney for a little shopping, my wife loves the Christmas shop (our tree is nothing but DISNEY) and we promised our 5 yo he could go to the LEGO store.

We are getting up Sunday and having breakfast with CHEF MICKEY at the Contemporary and then driving on to the port. The last time we left early from WDW and ended up sitting in the car until about 10:30 or 11:00...they would not even let us pull into the parking lot until then.

We arrive late Friday night and will stay at a hotel by the airport. Saturday we head to OKW, meet up with those going to the Wine and Cheese festivities and then we have dinner reservations at the California Grill in the Contemporary at 9:00PM - hope we can see some of the fireworks.
I am sure that we will not hurry to the port Sunday -we like to eat lunch in Parrot Cay but we can arrive at 12:30 or 1:00 and still do that. But, that also means that we miss the excitement of having everyone in the terminal - we shall see how that all plays out.

Well, thanks to my cable going out all last night I had over 10 pages to read this morning and I am finally caught up. :rotfl2:

So, on that point, good morning everyone!!! TGIF!!! :cheer2:

We did 14 days last year on the PC cruise and I didn't gain any more than I did in the past on a 7 day cruise. I think you realize that the food you "must" have will be available for 14 days, not 7 and you don't have to cram it all in at every meal.

We're going on the 7 day cruise to relax and see the changes to the Magic. We know the 11 day cruise is going to  but can't wait!!!

When I click the qoute button, I go to a new page, but there is nothing to the right, all the smiles are on the bottom and they only work at the end of the title. There must be a link I have not clicked on...

OBTW, I meant Bum in the nicest way possible. :)

I would be a very poor man if I lived as close as you do to WDW...unless I worked for Disney, which almost happened a few years back. I sent my resume's to Disney for something in the WINE & LIQ. Purchasing dept., but nothing ever came of it. We were going to move to a little town outside of Orlando to help start a new Church, but the housing market was out of our league. I know, I'm in the liq. business, but we still are members of one of the largest Churchs in B'ham. It's not the drinking of adult bev. that get you, it's only if you let it control your life. Which if you have a problem, I will not sell it to you. PERIOD! I have been doing this for over 17 yrs and I have said no to several people. Sorry about the rant.
Having lived here premouse you always know someone who works for the mouse. I can't remember the last time I paid to go to one of the parks. We do spend money once there, but not on addmission tics. I think I still have 3 days left on park hoppers I bought back right before AK opened.

Living in Florida now is getting to be a pretty pricecy proposition. I married a fourth generation Floridian and we are fortunate to have lived in our current home for 19 years. In the same (used to be) small town for 25 years. I would not want to be a young couple just starting out. Insurance is really hurting everyone, young and old.

I could tell you a long rambling story about the bible and the liqour thing in our house. (long rambling stories being a tradition in our family) however, I will just say that when the issue comes up it ends with a comment on the order of: Jesus's first public miracle was changing water into wine. Then that is followed by yeah, well that doesn't count. He did it for his MOTHER. This is about the time I go fix a watermelon martini and head for the pool.
(disclaimer. please don't take any of this out of context. I respect everyones veiws on religion, the bible, drinking etc. what you do is your business)

I know you did :) I don't carry my wine in a paper bag :lmao:

I do see the ones at the bottom. Not sure why you don't have them to the right. Maybe it's an option in your settings (under UserCP). Anyone else?

I have to try.

Edited to add...

Yeah  :cheer2: I got it!!!!! Thanks Dianna!

I need some help! Search is not working and Peter's link on page 1 for the Floor Monitors points to the one without 5th floor added. Who has 5th floor? Thanks!

That would be me on the 5th floor. Although Bill keeps asking what do? R we having a curfew? Will it take alot of time? He's so afraid i have every minute planned for us to be doing something and no time for him to nap and just lay by the pool. Our ideas of vacation are very different.

OK, we may be back on the cruise. I just got an e-mail with an amazing deal for the 10 and 11 nights. Keep your fingers crossed- it all depends on DH being able to get the vacation time. We had switched to a Mexico trip for our 10 year anniversary because it was much less but now this deal comes up! :p
