We are having a wonderful time at the Olde Harbour Inn in Savannah. We have enjoyed food, and food, and then more food! It is Africa hot here as well, but we have beat the streets for local art work and local crafts. We got some great original art, it just made me more anxious for our cruise! We took ds to moroccan belly dancing place for b'day dinner. That was a hoot! Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their day, I'll try to catch up soon.    This is me in Savannah! :moped: Gotta jet, board games with the kiddies!

I know....I'm taking suggestions since all the pirate names I get generated are boring and lame.....
If nothing else there's the female Canadian pirate Maria Lindsey. Pretty cruel person though.
Grace O'Malley was a name I remember from the canal cruise. Liked that one. I'm sure that whoever had it wouldn't mind if you borrowed it. Then there is Anne Bonney who was another famous pirate or her friend Mary Read.
Yeah, that's it. Considering your roomate how about Malibu Mary Read. :rotfl2:

Captain Anne Rackham,
Cannon Balls Nancy,
Yardarm Pegs, and

CaptainCrash, that photo was priceless. I am outside reading the posts and started laughing so loud that the neighbors were looking at the madman.(not that they normally don't look that way)

So... from your comments ... this is the picture I envisoned of your "condition".....

I just have to tell you all that the picture of my beloved dog Bubba was my very first pic I was able to post. (After three months of trying) Some of us are slow learners. I was so proud. Now I have to learn how to manipulate them as well in order to play. You're making it tough! I just hope it doesn't take me as long to learn how to "modify". LOL

The 3rd letter on his tag is an "S" and the other 4 letters are tough to make out. If I had to guess - as I copied the picture and enlarged ot - then tried sharpening it - but it is too low a resolution. If you attached a copy of the original image file I might be able to zoom in and read his name tag. In fact - I am fairly certain of it. Semd me a PM if you want me to do it.

Otherwise I would guess his name is Casin or Lasin.

Try using your middle name too or middle initial. You'll be surprised how many more combinations come up. For Bill we tried Bill, William, Bill James, William James, Billy, Billy Jim....LOL Don't remember which combo actually gave him his name :confused3

We were getting to close to the bottom of page one....had to give it a bump up!!!

Hope everyone is having a great Monday (at least as far as Monday's can go).

There are only 6 more Monday's (I have labor day off), just keep saying, I think I can, I think I can...

Bernadette

Bernadette,

I bet the heat is slowing down some folks.... it sure is taking its' toll at our home! :dance3:

Thankfully - todays temps are slightly less punishing.

Cheers!

Tom

I'm here as well, just sitting @ work watching the much needed RAIN in Alabama. I think we are behind in rain fall by about 20 inches or so...

Have a great Monday!

RE decorating fiish extenders, worry not this is a first for this cruise. Last time we just had them. Thanks Debbie. So don't feel behind the power curve, it is new ground for all. Have fun with it make it personal to you, bring zip ties to secure it to the fish, you are extending, to keep it from swimming away.

Okay, I may be silly, but I have no clue what zip ties are. Perhaps someone would care to enlighten me? Are their other options to secure them. I would hate for my fish to be the one that gets away :lmao:

I have heard that you have to get up early to go through customs when you go to St. Thomas because it is an american territory and you have visited a foreign country ( St Marteen) before disembarking there. My question is since St. Thomas is our first stop will we have to go through with the early morning customs?. Or because we went through International Waters will we have to anyways?

Here is the anwser I received !

" If you arrive at an intermediate US port from a US port (such as when the Western Caribbean Disney Magic arrives in Key West from Port Canaveral), there is not an early morning US Customs and Border Protection process.

If you arrive at an intermediate US port from a foreign port (such as when the Eastern Caribbean Disney Magic arrives in St. Thomas from St. Maarten), there is an early-morning US Customs and Border Protection process.

At the end of the cruise, there is a US Customs and Border Protection process as part of debarkation. For US citizens, it does not an an early-morning process. "

When I cruised on Princess last Oct/Nov we stopped in St Thomas first. We did not have to go through the Customs thing.

And debarkation wasn't any different than it always has been on DCL or Norwegian....they kind of glanced at our passports and said "Have a good day".

:thumbsup2 Now, that's what I wanted to hear!
