We got our chores done early and spent the day at the Magic Kingdom! It was hot . We still had a great time. It's all about taking your time and knowing how to find the cool spots. Pirates of the Caribbean was closed so I couldn't get any tips for Pirate nite. Can I come as a Mermaid instead?

I'll be off the boards for a few days. I'm scheduled for LASIK surgery first thing in the morning......"The better to see you with my dear". I'll see you much better soon

Good luck tomorrow. I had my LASIK done about 16 months ago. Very happy I did it.

Hi all,

Just wanted to let anyone interested in tours know that we've decided to join krdinseybound on their tour with Cosol.

Also a warning to those of you planning to book tours on your own. While checking our credit card statements online yesterday, we found an unauthorized $700 charge posted just after a $40 tour deposit. I will not name the tour operator because I'm hoping it was a simple error on their part. But we've had to cancel 1 credit card and start an investigation into the unauthorized charge. The only thing the investigation officer could tell us is that both charges originated in a foreign country and it showed up as TLP transaction expired. Although it appeared as an exipired transaction, it was in actuality as $700 charge.

Just wanted to give people a head's up and a reminder to check CC statements carefully.

Hi Everyone ,

I know I don't post much, but I do read everything that's been posted at least a couple times a month.

I'm starting to try to plan our activities for the cruise and was wondering if anyone has any information on what nights will be formal, semi-formal, pirate , tropical, and any other special dining that may be planned for us?

I remember that for the May Panama Canal repo cruise, someone actually posted all the lunch and dinner themes! That was a big help to me in my planning. How about it -- anyone in the know ?

I get the same message for February as well. I have a few things to check, but can't right now. There are some changes being made to the server and it's possible something went wrong. Until I get my login information on the new system, I can't check or fix it, but I will as soon as possible.

That being said, I made a decision about the June newsletter. It will not come out until I return from my short trip. I will work on the newsletter Sunday and Monday and hopefully have it out to you on Monday, but for sure by Tuesday. Part of the problem is me leaving town early Friday morning (have to be in the car by 4:30 at the latest) and not sure when I'll get the login information. I don't want to try to get it all done now to find out I can't upload it until I get home. Sorry

If you have information for me for the newsletter, please get it to me by Saturday night. I don't have a lot for this issue. Maybe I'll include a review of Expedition Everest

PHEW - lots of catch up reading to do. Have been super busy getting ready for our Hawaii vacation and DD's birthday. Just got back yesterday from Hawaii and now playing major catch up at work, email, unpacking/laundry etc.

To all who had birthday's - HAPPY BIRTHDAY Crazy Birthday month for me...DM, DD, Both of DD's God Mothers, and a few others as well as our dog.

Carol - glad to see you are back to sewing. We were thinking of you during your surgery and recovery. I hope you are doing well.

In a word ~~ incredible, stupendous, breathtaking, cool, innovative ... you have to ride it to appreciate it. We had the good fortune to go to AP previews in January and I (who can't ride Mission:Space to save my life) LOVED this ride, although I am limited to riding it 2 times in a row.........the 3rd time got to my stomach big-time. You're going to have a blast Tracy

The dates are not known at this time, but I am sure they will be out very soon and as soon as I know the dates I will post what I am given.

I just did receive an E-mail from Disney. They're still finalizing the entertainment schedule, but there will be 2 formal nights on the 19th and 26th of Sept. There is no semi-formal night. On night 4 there is a Tropical evening and on night 8 there will be a pirates night .

Thanks Figment! That helps me alot. I can start planning Palo etc. this weekend

(24 hrs after IntraLASIK and my vision is 20/20 R and 20/25 L. They said it can only get better. NO glasses for the cumputer and I can go diving next week.)
