Tracy, yes it is full but there are two folks not on the cruise with us who have expressed interest, will tell them to get with it or loose their spots. So I will accept a standby list. PM if interested in standby.

Yes good to see folks checking in, now lets get some photos up there.

Lynn had a very long day/night and she is sleeping. I got home early and did some work here at home ( reports via email). So now I am quietly making noise outside listening to Sirius Margaritaville , what else, doing reports, and calling it a day. Lynn should be able to sleep as the realtor has not called wanting to show the house.

Figment72, KEWL!!!!!! THE MUPPETS, I HOPE THIS IS FOR REAL. Muppets are right up there on my list. They were great on the repo cruise. Where did ya get the email from?????

Hey Bob, when is the next concert????

Have a great weekend, living in a tourist area we tend to just stay at home and hide and hope we don't get called into work.

I forgot, might work on the Fish Extender this weekend.

Hi all!

I'm still counting down the days untill setting sail for this cruise. Just one month before I will start a new job here in the Netherlands as well, so it's going to be a great Summer!!!

I just have received an E-mail with a little entertainment teaser in it, so even more reason to set sail very soon!!!!!

Just a little part out of the E-mail:

I agree that a show with the Muppets would be so cool. I love the Muppets. Maybe I'll get one of those emails. :confused3 I "wonder" what other special entertainment and surprises they have in store for us?

Have a nice 4th of July weekend everyone!!!

I hope Pop Goes the 4th will be on PBS. Guess I have a PBS Mind in a MTV world.

Rotary2808, ya think they would let us know, we can keep a secret, well at least here we can.

Just a little travel tip, make sure you check your flight info, I check ours about every two weeks, just in case there is a schedule change, a couple of days ago ours really got messed up, and I was glad I checked it.

Ok boys and girls, please forgive my "dumbness" as i have been dealing with attorneys who have their heads on backwards all day. What is MNSSHP?

Only 73 more days until vacation!!! :cool1:

I know that feeling all too well. That was pretty close to my past three days.

Mickey's Not So Scarry Halloween Party = MNSSHP

It is a hard ticket event on selected evenings at the MK. Special things going on i.e. fireworks, parade, costumes , trick or treat stations, like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP).

MNSSHP :thumbsup2

Haven't checked in in awhile, for those that have stayed in a Category 11 before, any opinions on the insides that go North to South rather then the normal East to West Cabins?

Just wondered if it's worth switching to one that goes North to South(up and down). Which one feels bigger?

JimbCh :)

Question - is anyone going to attend MNSSHP on the 29th at WDW? We have purchased tickets and heard good reviews from some friends that went last year. Has anyone participated in this event in past years?

I just called and got tickets last night. We have gone a couple of times and had a blast. One year we all dressed up, my daugheter was Mickey, my DGD was Minnie, DGS was Buzz and I was Maleficent. We had people come up and ask if they could take pictures with us. One word of advice though, if you do decide to dress up, wear something that is not made of material that is to heavy, we about roasted in those costumes!!

To everyone who responded about my neighbors dumping the stuff in our lot, I thought about going down the road and gathering up all the trash cans (today was garbage day) and dumping it in their front yard. :rotfl2: But decided that since we plan to live here at least until we retire, to just suck it up and hope they keep their word and get it cleaned up by Tuesday, we will start puttiing up the fence tomorrow. We've been wanting to get that part of the yard fenced anyway to keep the kids and their mini bikes off it. I am afraid they will get hurt and the parents will sue us.
Anyway, I hope that everyone has a great weekend!!!

Oh, rural PA traffic is a CAKEWALK compared to Boston traffic. It wouldn't be so bad in a car but in our semi with 53 ft trailer there just is no weaving in and out of traffic to get ahead. And why do people not understand th "Use both lanes to merge point" signs? :moped: Oh well, there are no construction zones in the southern caribbean!!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Yep, we are going to MNSSHP (along with F&W). Going to be a busy day. Have reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table that day too!

Staples are out and we are doing well.

Have done the MNSSHP before, and you can tell by the belly size that we do not mind eating around the world :lmao: :rotfl2:  Mike

One more question for all you experienced WDW folks (we know Disneyland like the back of our hand) - is there an additional cost for the Food and Wine Festival? Certain times? Yeah, that was two questions.

We have had one of the sideway category 11 staterooms before. We really liked the layout. It didn't seem as crowded as you entered through the door. We did miss having sunlight though.

No extra charge fro F&W, they have several and I mean several, kiosks that sell various sample of foods from different countries or regions, there is also wine and beer available. There was a FL vineyard that had a mango wine that I really liked. Most of the kiosks are around the world showcase at WDW and are available when that area of EC is open. There are also various seminars that I believe most are free. Then there are a few special events that cost extra, can’t recall what they are called. It is fun to walk around World Show Case and sample the offerings. The cost from about $2-$5 per serving.

Mike good to hear the staples are out and all is well.

There's no extra charge to get IN to F&W but you do have to pay for the samples of food and the glasses of wine. It would be GREAT if the food was included with admission, but I'd hate to fight the crowds if it was.

The food booths open at the same time World Showcase does and they close around the start of Illuminations. The 29th is an extra magical hour night at Epcot though, so I'm not sure how late the food will be served, but the park closes at midnight.

There are hard ticket events offered during F&W, but I can't say anything about them, since we've never attended any of the dinners or seminars. They also have free Eat to the Beat concerts 2 times nightly at the American Adventure stage. The first weekend is Survivor (guess they got tired of making bad commercials).

New Zealand, please bring back the lamb chops. It's going on 2 years now since I've had my grilled lamb chop fix and I'm having serious withdrawals here folks !!!!!

I did get this E-mail from Disney Destinations, so it must be for real. The cruise was fun allready, but seems to become more and more fun onboard!!

We are already listed on the roster as Disneyblonde and Jimbo, we have been on there for sometime, we haven't posted much as we were getting ready for our wedding and honeymoon cruise. WE were married June 17th and went on Freedom of the Seas 3rd sailing on June 18th.

We will try to post more now since we should have some more time now, we just paid our final payment yesterday.

WE are looking for excursions now, anyone have interesting excursions planned? WE like to do ones not with the cruiselines since they are much more crowded, we like to book private vendors on our own, less crowded and less money.

JimboCh :)
