Elaine, not referring to you, as I know you got what you wanted, just for folks who are thinking about a tattoo, pointing out not to take the decision lightly. Bob good shops will not touch you if you have been drinking, that is in the US.

Same here in Canada...I had to sign off that I was not under the influence!!!!

Yeah Scott, I have no idea why they were discontinued either, but I was lucky enough to find 1 box at Big Lots 3 years ago. So far it's lasted us thru 2 cruises / vacations and I gave Tony 10 packs for the repo cruise last year. I think I still have 6-8 packs left, so that should be enough for this vacation (three weeks total). Now to get the Snuggle fabric softener singles (liquid not sheets) from minimus.com and we'll be all set as far as laundry goes.

Gee maybe I should put my Tide Tablets up on ebay and maybe I'd make enough money to go on this cruise.... I have enough supply to last a "few" vacations....I guess that what happens when one of the factories used to be located in your hometown!!!!!

I don't have Tide tablets but I do have Purex tablets Actually I like the Tide with Downy so I got a small bottle (good for 2-4 loads). I got the Tide, used it up and refilled it with the Downy kind. All set now, but willing to sell the Purex tablets

Tatoo? Don't think so. Not a big fan of doing things that I might regret when i get sober.

As I am always sober, shouldn't be a problem....which I guess is why I haven't gotten one sooner.


Scott- got one of those lovely letters in the mail from your friends the DA. Lucky for me, they cancelled the case. (I'd put some smile here, but for some reason I can't) I have yet to testify....lucky me.

How do you pick? How do they know how to draw it? I am afraid to step into one of those places- well maybe not afraid, but intimidated- as I know they are friendly...usually.

You take them a picture. They photocopy it onto some magical kind of transfer that they then stick on you and use as a guide. If you want to get artsy.. some of the good ones can even freehand it. Don't you watch Miami Ink??

Hmmm...can't say I've heard of that. One other thing that is holding me back is Noah. How can I tell him I don't want him to have one, if I have one. Part of the reason I went to college- this way he can't say look, you're doing fine, why do I have to?

However, I have been thinking about it more & more.

Not exactly...Lucky me got assigned the audit of a particular business....the Crown Attorney (the CDN equivalent of your DA's) decided that my audit was motive for one of the murders.....in order to obtain life insurance proceeds to pay the debt....convicted of two counts of first degree murder....life in prison, no parole for 25 years. I was sweating bullets on the stand but the Crown Attorney and the police officers all said I looked "calm, cool and collected!!!" Yeah right....it was an experience that I hope I never have to go through again....

P.S. I hope my "angel" image hasn't been too tarnished!!!!!

WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You haven't heard of Miami Ink????

Tune in tomorrow night (Tuesday) at 10 pm on TLC....and you will see some incredible ink!!!!

You can take a picture, stencil, just about anything (including a sweatshirt!!!) and depending on the artist they can recreate it as a tattoo. For Dory, I took a sticker in a few days before and he made a stencil from it....I had the actual sticker with me when he did the tattoo....I am soooo pleased with my tattoo that now I wish I got somewhere I could see it all the time....my tattoo artist also took a picture of Dory for his portfolio!!!!!!

You can tell Noah that he can get a tattoo when he is your age and no sooner!!!!!!

P.S. I will warn you....tattoos are addicting....I now have 3 and have a 4th in mind!!!!!
