Good. That's what Scott and I have. You can tell the difference because his will have the good looking guy attached to it. :rotfl2:

Our Target had the POC and the CARS (49$). They also had the jukebox/charger and the hardside case. Got both of those for xmas. Really like them.
Had to buy a usb extender to download from the laptop to the player. But the software works well.

I haven't been able to find any of them at our Target. :confused3 I got mine from Disneyshopping. Lucked out, they were having a one day sale with $10 off of all the others and $13 off the chrome one.  Since I saved $13 dollars I went ahead and got the hardside case and the AC adapter/charger. Will probabaly get the jukebox later. For now I have a pair of small speakers that plug into where the microphones go that I can use if I want.

My DH is so techno that we have plenty of usb extenders, etc. so don't have to worry about that.

Went to the library today and got some Jimmy Buffett and Reggae to Rip. :Pinkbounc :bounce: Now I may have to go buy a couple of cd's. Never realized just how much I liked the music. One of those things I always listened to with half an ear. :listen: :lmao:

I got my fish extender today. My wife commented on how well it was made, and I had to agree. Now if only I could find a small lcd screen I can hook it up to my extender and show Pirates of the Caribbean on it as my decoration.

Also please add me to the Adult category!

Would love to see this! Can't wait to see how everybody does theirs.

I was able to find the Rosa Regale in Waldorf, Maryland (about 20 miles from my house). Pretty good stuff, but man, is it expensive. They want $22.99 per bottle! I'll have to take some very small sips. Please put me down for the wine tasting. I won't bother bringing any Southern Maryland Wine, quite bitter and not so good at all. How about some Rioja!

Given the recent posts on free AOL has my husband asking/wondering whether the ship has a wireless remote to get online while onboard. Anyone know?

Got our mickey organizer for Linda and Michelle yesterday. Forgot to let you know. Very nice for putting the tie in with it also.

I am going to be bringing some extras for anyone who might forget theirs or don't have one.

Strissel - we used to live in Upper Marlboro before moving to AZ. We had to drive to Waldorf just to find a place to eat. Quite a few of the fellow hospital staff out at Andrews AFB lived down there, so we were finding ourselves in Waldorf quite a bit.

Oh, and a huge thank you to Scrappy - you ended up saving us $56 on our order! Thank you, thank you.

Secret Mickey

Are you interested in being a Secret Mickey (secret pal) while we are on our cruise? . We will have two categories – one for the under 21 group that would like to participate (we will further divide this group based on responses to match as closely as possible) and another for the adults. Dollar limit on total number of gifts for the under 21 age group is $20-$25 ($4-$5 each) and the adults $30-$35 ($6-$7 each gift). You will need to provide at least five gifts for your SM.

If you are interested, we need the following information in a PM
· DIS name of at least one family member
· Real name and age if in the U21 group, grade too
· Cabin number (for deliveries)
· Favorite Disney character
. Favorite color
· Your likes (DCL, scrapbooking, collects stamps, wine, Konk Koolers
(hey, I'll have one of those), wine, the beach)
· Any specific dislikes (I don’t drink, allergic to peanuts)
· Departure date for your cruise vacation

This information will be passed on to the person that is your SM so let us know whatever would help them be a good SM for you.

We will have a get together on one of the last two sea days returning to Castaway to “fess up” and thank our SM for being so thoughtful and making our cruise even better.

Please send your PM’s to Minniemouse71 for the under 21’s and I will take the adult’s notices no later than August 25th. You will have your SM before you leave for your cruise vacation – in case you want to do some shopping at home.

Edited 08/30 to add - meet in the Promenade Lounge after the Dis Luncheon (1:30) on our last sea day to personally thank your SM for being so good to you!

Questions – ask away.

Boy I sure do ask for a lot. But if you don't want your CC lanyard, I will be more than happy to take it off your hands. I'm a cast member so when we book reservations at the discount we get, we are not eligible for the CC rewards :(

Technicaly we are members, we have saild on our DVC points before but they have this habbit of not remembering their cast when it comes time to thank people for returning.

If you don't mind my asking, what are you referring to?

tks!

I think the promotion code for DVC discount is dvc10july. You can check on the DVC website under member perks. But - there is a better discount of 25% if you use the code explore25. I think this expires 7/31.

Carol

Hi Carol,

I tried both codes but neither seem to work...does anyone know of any others? tks!

I just went into DisneyShopping and the explore25 worked for 25% off. After you enter the code you have to scroll down to activate it. I wasn't sure about the DVC code, but it is for 10% and you can find the code on the DVC website under member perks.

Hope that helps. Every dollar saved is another dollar I can spend on my cruise. :Pinkbounc
