September 16th 2006 7 day Costa Maya

DH and I just put a deposit for 9/16/2006 7 Day Costa Maya Cat 9 Ocean Veiw Room. Would love the Cat 6 Varandah Room but just can't justify spending $700 more. How is the Temp during that time of month. I Know it is peak huracane season anyone had regrets for Sept cruises?

Went last September, and yeah, we got caught up in Jeanne. It went well, a little wooly..WEather was awesome(best yet)..ANd we are doing it again this September, so NO REGRETS...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You really need to be open to port changes, itenerary changes, and flexibility. Travel insurance is extremely important at any time, but more so during hurricane season...

My husband are also booked on that cruise! And, I just noticed a post of yours on the DVC forum. We are DVC people, too.

We sailed in September 2003. We had some rough seas on the last night, but the captain does a fabulous job of steering the ship clear of the trouble. As for the weather, it was GORGEOUS!!! We just sailed in February, and we were really disappointed with the air and water temps. Can't wait to sail again in September!

We always book Cat. 9 - we're cheap. If you're not sailing with other people, maybe we should think about dining together... We have late seating. Interested? It would be nice to dine with someone who understands addonitis!!!

Please join us on our cruise meet thread!! We sailed during hurricane Jeanne as well, and, well, lets say we had an adventure to add to our stories! We are doing it again this year as well as 2006. My only advice is to make sure you buy the insurance! We look forward to seeing you on our cruise meet.

We too are on the Sept 16, 06 cruise. We were also on the Sept 19 cruise last year and I loved it. However we were very lucky in that we got to stop at CC and the waters were only bad one night! Join us on the Double scoops of Castaway thread!

don't worry about the hurricanes.... just be careful of the cruise ship eating pier....
