September 15, 2013 Disney Dream

Just found this thread :)

We are booked on this cruise and we are soooo excited!

Our travelling party is me, DH, DD(3) and DS who will be 11months at the time of the cruise. Also coming along for the ride is my parents :)

Not long to go! We fly into MCO from London on the 13th (yep Friday 13th LOL)

Hey everyone! I know it is a bit early, but I decided to start packing today! No serious packing, but just general items that I know I won't use between now and then, I am putting in my suitcase until it gets closer to time.

Major bummer though. My luggage is pert near ruined. I have only used it once or twice, and it is one of those really nice spinners. It is still usable, but somewhere along the way, the casing cracked. I don't know if it happened in transit or if it was the way it was stored or what, but I am so bummed, because it is a very nice piece of luggage, and to only get one or two uses out of it is unfortunate.

I got a great deal on it a couple of years ago, and now, finding something similar, they are 3 or 4 times as much as I paid for this one. I guess I will use this one for now, maybe keep an eye on specials in the off season.

Hopefully, this is the only stress I will encounter in the next month!

We just booked our cruise to add to a 7 day Disney trip! There will be 4 of us: My wife, daughter (2 1/2), mother in law, and me.

I hope that it is not too late to get in on the FE. I am sure that my mom could put together a FE in no time!

I went to the Google docs link and filled out the form for all 4 of us. I think I am going to try and keep this a secret from the rest of them until I hang the FE outside our door!

Now I just have to finish planning. We have already started a list but I am sure that it will grow as we get closer. This will be the first time that we are flying with our daughter!

… I watched the Behind the Magic Disney Cruise Line on the travel channel last night.. I really don’t think 4 days is going to be enough… I want to see and do everything… :yay::yay::yay:
I hope they have 2015 dates available when we set sail – we want to book a stay on the Fantasy and would love the perks for booking online…
Vacation starts in 38 days!!!

I watched (and recorded it) too! That special is partly responsible for us booking this cruise - we saw a couple of months ago and DBF got very interested in the Aquaduck and the CGI used for AP and the magical portholes and such. Before that, I was having a hard time selling him on the additional cost of DCL compared to other high end cruise lines.

If 2015 is not available for booking, you can still book another cruise for 2014 & have the date switched once the 2015 dates are released. That way you will still get the benefits of re-booking onboard. If you need a good Disney travel agent, just let me know. :wave2:

We actually just decided to do the 7 day on the Magic for Christmas... I'm soo excited. I always wanted to do Disney for Christmas and we finally are as a family.. so we are going to book that when we board... I'm way to excited for a cruise that is 18 months away.. lol.
