September 13, 2014 7 Night Fantasy Cruise

Ok I have just recently learned about DIS boards. This is really cool! I am a member of the Facebook group and have posted on there occasionally.
This will be my husband and I's second cruise and we will have only our younger 2 children with us this time. They will be celebrating their 4th birthday onboard. We are participating in group 3 of the FE and looking forward to it! This will be the first time we will have done the FE.
How does everyone know what nights things will be happening? I haven't been able to find that information out! Any help would be appreciated!

We recently decided that we needed to cancel our cruise. We've had some recent unexpected bills come up and unfortunately we decided to pull from our vacation savings instead of going into debt for the cruise.

Please remove us from FE group #1. I'll also post on the Facebook page.

Congratulations!! This will be our first time sailing Platinum!

In case you aren't aware, you will now be invited to a Castaway Club Cocktail Party on Sunday morning (I think around 11am).

You will be able to get your picture taken with Captain Mickey!

You will get to hear some inside information from the senior ship officers!

Free Appetizers!

Free Drinks (there is usually about 4 or 5 to choose from)!

And on your way out the door, you get a very good Rice Krispie Treat!

I can't help it.... I always end up scheduling brunch during the Castaway Club reception. Free drinks are good....but Palo brunch is yummier.

If that is the only time that you can get a reservation, I would choose Palo over the reception too!!

We just booked this cruise last week! I am so excited. We were previously booked on the cruise for September 6, but we had to change due to my husbands work. We will be traveling with our soon to be 5 year old and my parents! We love the FE and can't wait to be a part of this group and everything FUN that is planned!

Welcome! We are going with our boys, age 9 and almost 5, too! Also my parents and another couple and their will-be 6 month old!!

My boys are looking forward to making some friends to play with in the clubs!

Butting in with my favorites.. crab legs, grape and gorganzola (or maybe it was bleu cheese) pizza, salmon mousse.

My wife Tammy and I are sailing to do a delayed celebration of our 30th anniversary and this will be our first cruise.

I've been watching the thread for a long time but I thought I would be polite and introduce myself finally. We have taken the family to Disney World a couple of times but this will be our first trip without the family in tow. We are looking forward to the cruise to just relax and disconnect from work for week. We are staying at the Grand Floridian pre cruise (have never stayed there before) because I couldn't pass through Orlando without at least stopping to see my favorite mouse. As luck would have it we are going to MNSHP the night before we cruise which is also a first.

As I mentioned we have never cruised before and my wife's only criteria was a 7 nights with warm weather and beaches so that is how we chose this cruise. We plan to do the Jeep Exploration in Cozumel, The Family Beach Day at Tiki Beach in Grand Cayman, and nothing planned for Jamaica.

We are closing out our Trip at the Polynesian for a couple of nights and a few more days at Magic Kingdom with an encore MNSHP.

Congratulations on booking your first Disney cruise. Dh and I are big fans of cruising without the kids. We take one cruise with them, then one without them. The first time we cruised without them was on a Disney ship. We met a two other couples through our Disboard group who were also sailing without kids and we linked our dinner reservations with them. That was really fun.

We'll be joining you for our first cruise to celebrate our 15th Anniversary and one of our sons Birthday's (Logan...turning 11). We're brand new at this, but would love to participate in the FE if we can be added to it.
