Cheri, the dates for the Visa offer are 9/28-10/11; 11/9-11/22 and 12/14-12/20. It's a good deal, but I couldn't be using it anyway...got some bills to pay of before I start working on paying for THIS cruise. I do still have about 3 vacations days left this year.....hmmmmmm, wouldn't mind a long weekend in the north country when the leaves turn....wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. I managed to shirk most of my chores...AGAIN!

Well, two weeks and we hear abou the 2010 cruises...hope we don't lose any of our cruisemates to the tempting Magic itineraries.

I'll be on pins and needles for two weeks. I can't wait. We'll still be going to Tortola, but I'm excited to find out what adventure 2010 will bring us. Right now, if the rumors are correct, I imagine we'll be looking at the probably the first Baltic cruise. We did the TA in 2007 and I'd like to do a Med. cruise, but that's not really how I want to see that area. It's so port extensive and so tiring that's it hard to enjoy yourself. At least we'll get Rome out of the way next year with ABD. If we did a Med. cruise, I'd just pick and choose and take it easy.

Re: clothes for the cruise, being able to use the same outfits twice for the theme nights will really cut down on the packing! I hadn't thought of that. I REALLY want to pack a lot lighter than I did for the WB. I made notes on my packing list when I got home as far as what I needed, what I didn't need, etc. But one thing I'm going to be sure to take are the Crystal Light "Gatoraide" packets! I used those on my diving trip and my DL trip last month and I think they really helped me. I sweat SO much and even though I drink a lot of water, I often don't feel really hydrated. Thanks, Jan, for that tip!

Glad to know they helped!

That's the kind I packed for our trip to Branson this past week. I mixed it up each night and put the bottles in our little cooler chest packed with ice from the machine in the hall.

For the cruise I will do that and leave the bottles in our in-room cooler!!
