Oh good.. so you think I could get away with a carry on next time???? :lmao:

What dates are you cruising in December? I remember you won this at the DCL house party, right? I would love to do a December cruise, but it would have to be a short one because they are so expensive.

I would love to do the one that Nan is doing and cruise on NYE.

It's the Dec. 7, 4 night Wonder and yes, it's the one I won from House Party!:goodvibes

AH....but you have to pack for the WDW portion of your trip too! At least you won't have to pack and formal/semi formal wear (there's just 'dress-up' night on the Wonder). :thumbsup2 When I did my 'surf n turf' I had a few 'park' outfits separate from cruise outfits...but we did have a washer and dryer in our SSR 2 bedroom, so everything went back in the suitcases clean!

But you're right....still won't be like packing for 15 days.

Yes, I'll need park clothes, but for me that's a no-brainer. I usually wear jeans, a cotton shirt and if it's cool, a denim shirt over. One pair of jeans is good for at least 2 days, maybe 3 if I'm careful. :goodvibes I plan on a clean shirt each day since no matter how careful I am, I usually spill coffee/food on my shirts. Then my crocs, and some socks and that's it!

Taking home clean clothes--what a concept! No laundry when I get home??? What would I do with myself?????:confused3

NEVER!

We're doing a b2b with this cruise and the following one on 9/19/08. That one is a Western. So we're actually going for 14 nights......how many themed nights are we going to have this trip and what will they be? Will I have repeat themes on the Western? And do I wear the same thing on each cruise for the themed nights? Please advise, I don't know what I should do.....therefore pack. And you know how little time we have.....hahaha....

Oh yea, don't we just LOVE that you're cruising for free. What a great win, Cheri. What stateroom number are you in? Just want to know what cat they give you for a free cruise.

btw, I priced it out and for me and John to do the same cruise it would cost approx. $2k for a cat 6.....that's almost what I'm paying for a full week on this cruise in the same category.

We are doing the B2B as well with you.. They do the same exact things so yes you will have double of each.. 2 Tropical Character breakfasts, 2 pirate nights, 2 formal nights, 2 semi formal nights.. and Yes, you can wear the same clothes for each..

Thanks Stacy.....so only the b2bers will have seen me wear my themed outfits already, but no one else will know. Ok. Don't tell!

So I only need to pack a tropical, pirate, formal and semi-formal and just wear them twice. We don't do mexican on the western??? I'll bring it just in case.

I won't tell if you don't :rolleyes1

We will be wearing the same clothes as well.. We dress for dinner, change back to casual and hang our clothes back up anyway.. I will probably wash our casual clothes while on the ship because we will wear our t shirts and shorts more then our dinner dress clothes

The prize was for a cat 9 but for $100 @ ($400 total) we could upgrade to a balcony, so that's what we did. We're in cabin 7592.:goodvibes

Mum's the word.....I promise!:cool2:

We do that too. We end up changing at least 3 times a day.....bathing suit, shorts and tees, dinner clothes or theme clothes. So nothing gets worn for very long. I'll bring enough shorts and tees to wear for two weeks so I won't have to wash those. The bathing suits and dinner clothes will get worn again. I brought the Tide pen with me on my PC cruise and used it every night after dinner on my blouse. It worked great! So I can re-wear those.

Oh, you did good. I would have done the same thing.

Post lots of pictures of the boat decorated for Christmas. I would love to see that.

Man-oh-man, I just got the most tempting e-mail from Disney Visa this morning. Four nights five days value resort, with theme park tickets and FREE DINING. Available for a couple of specific weeks in Sept/Oct/Nov/Dec for something like $75 per person, per night double occupancy. Don't remember the exact figure, but it was looooow.

If any of you have Disney Visa and haven't gotten the offer...I suggest giving them a call....limited number of rooms bla bla bla....

That's the reason I chose Dec. for the trip, was to see the ship and CC decorated for Xmas! You know me, I'll have my camera with me at all times!:thumbsup2

I called Disney Visa and the person I spoke to didn't know anything about it, but I found the info on the Chase/Disney Visa website. It advertises a package for a family (2 adults, 1 jr. and 1 child) but doesn't say if you can get it for a different configuration. Of course they're closed now, but I'm going to call in the morning.

Re: clothes for the cruise, being able to use the same outfits twice for the theme nights will really cut down on the packing! I hadn't thought of that. I REALLY want to pack a lot lighter than I did for the WB. I made notes on my packing list when I got home as far as what I needed, what I didn't need, etc. But one thing I'm going to be sure to take are the Crystal Light "Gatoraide" packets! I used those on my diving trip and my DL trip last month and I think they really helped me. I sweat SO much and even though I drink a lot of water, I often don't feel really hydrated. Thanks, Jan, for that tip!:thumbsup2
