Hey....don't even MENTION that song in relation to a cruise, OK?

Geeze.

OK, now the Titanic song we sung in Girl Scouts is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

.

You'll have to come down and have fun with us poor folk in steerage.

For those of us LUCKY enough to be staying on for the second week, here is a copy of something posted on one of the EB threads by a person who was staying on for the 5 day:

For the several of us who are remaining for the 5 Day cruise, we have a different set of instructions.

For those leaving, their luggage had to be left outside their room last night (Sunday evening). For those of us remaining, our luggage needed to be packed and remain in our rooms so that the room stewards could move the luggage to the new rooms.

For the very few lucky (myself included) who have the same room assignment, I do not have to do anything with my "stuff" and/or my luggage. I am staying in this room, so there is no worry.

Those of us remaining have to meet the Clearance Officer at the Shore Excursion Desk this morning at 9:30 a.m. We will be escorted off the ship and through a special line to clear customs. We will then be escorted to the check-in desks in the port terminal at 10:00 a.m. As soon after 10:00 a.m. as they can, they will check us in for our 5 Day cruise and then escort us back on board the ship. General check-in and boarding does not happen until much later (boarding usually begins around 12:00 Noon). So, for us, we will have the run of the ship for a couple of hours!

"run of the ship for a couple of hours"!!! Doesn't THAT sound like fun????:cool1:

Jackie - We're starting to practice our rendition of Nearer My God to Thee

:lmao: Stop it Ian!!!:scared1:

For some strange reason I am quite looking forward to that day.:confused3

Only 375 shopping days left for formal wear.

From my personal experience, one needs a lot of lead time if dealing with the Bulgarians.

Better get whatever you wanted ordered. Unless the last parcel is still on its way!!!:lmao:

Hey....are we having a party here next Friday? (or "Friday week", as Marilyn might say)
THIS Friday I'll be in DISNEYLAND! :cool1: Can't wait to play with Ian, Sukie, Cheri and some of our pals from the WBPanama. :grouphug:

Got an e-mail from my brother asking a couple of booking questions, so I think he's on the brink of booking this cruise. The 50% deposit 'sale' did the trick, I'm thinking (or the nagging from a couple of sisters).

TIme to hit the shower and show up for just 3 1/2 days of work this week. :woohoo:

Catch ya later, dudes.

.

Oh yes, you've survived one hurricane now, so this will be easy!!!:rotfl2:

Thanks Marilyn...

I'm going with the old wisdom... if you get a hurricane this year...you won't next year... right???? :confused3

I've got a whole year to think about what we will be wearing. I'm not sure if the ambassadors will be making another appearance, but we probably will wear the tails again.

At least now I know how to tie a real bow tie.

I also have the duds for the wedding, which would be great for Palos and an evening of fashionable promenading around on deck.

That will be a sight, I'm sure!

See you FRIDAY NIGHT. I'll be thinking of you guys all day Thursday and wishing I was there. :grouphug:

That's what I keep thinking Michelle. We'll just keep thinking that, right?:thumbsup2

Look forward to seeing you - going to be fun! I think those sharing a table with you should dress up appropriately and join the fun.

So, I was just looking at my calendar and realised a year today we will be setting off on our vacation!!!:yay: :yay:

Not 100% whether we will fly over on the Monday or Tuesday yet, but I know I want to be there a few days before in case the baggage doesn't arrive with us!

Woohoo.:dance3:
