Hello cruise mates!
I'm off to Laguna Beach tomorrow for a "sisters trip". We were supposed to go to Michigan for my nephew's wedding but the wedding got called off!

But since we were all planning to be away for the weekend, my youngest sis said we should just go someplace else, so we're heading to the beach!

Jackie and I just drove back from DL on Tuesday. I didn't expect to return to SoCal so soon, but at least someone else is driving!

Hey gal - sorry to hear about the wedding being called off - unless of course it's in the best interests of both parties!

Nope, this is the first time we've gotten to do the F&W Festival, that's why I'm so excited. It's an event I've always wanted to do. I'm a little bummed though. We'll only be there opening weekend and I was really hoping to do the Party for the Senses and they're not having it that weekend. But, hey, a reason to go back another year right?!!! So, I'm just looking forward to taking it slow this year and mainly focusing on all the food booths since we really only have one day to devote to Epcot. Friday we'll be at MK for MNSSHP and Sunday we'll be at Hollywood Studios to try out Toy Story Mania for the first time. I definately want to try to do a week sometime during the F&W Festival another year where we can try more things. This year was a last minute trip. We're also planning on going to the Adventurer's Club Sat. for our first, last and only trip. I can't believe we'll be there the last night it's open.

I completely forgot our cruise is one year from today!!!! I can't wait!!!! Let the party begin!!!!

Hi everyone, just stopped by to catch up. Just finished putting the suitcases away from the EB. OMG what an adventure. Already starting to count the days 'till we go again. Traying to decide where to stay pre-cruise two nites. I'm thinking Poly. We enjoy Epcot at night but also the fireworks from MK. Plus it could be the MNSSHP while we're there....

Hope all is well, and everyone is still on course to go.

I would think there's a good chance for MNSSHP this time next year considering the first party this year was on the 5th. They're starting pretty early.

It's almost like we need a 12 step program for the depression that hits when you finaly unpack.
We had the best vacation ever. Including Columbia. I guess we focus on Tortola....

Marilyn, just look at it as an adventure! We love cruising in Sept.

We call fall cruises: Mystery Tours. The fine print on the contract says that the Captain can alter the itinerary. He does it to find SUN for US

We have had a cruise end in Fort Lauderdale with no problem at all. Disney made it work fine. In fact, it was smoother than the debarkation in LA after the Panama Canal cruise!!

I've been goofing off all day (including a nap), and now need to head out to buy groceries...my cupboard is BARE. All I've had to eat today is some air popped popcorn

The hard drive on my lap top crashed Tom has a lap top that we share or I use it and he goes into the office to use the big computer but then we are not sitting together.

Work and volunteer commitments have increased and I am working on some afghans for gifts which take fingers so DISing is slower.

The RAZ can find the PC thread but just today I got this thread. I have given up on that one. People talk too fast for me there.

Looking forward to this cruise--taking the family!! --and having withdrawal since not on the ship now.

I am over 100 pages behind on the Westbound thread I think.

I have not finished the Eastbound PC thread we all chatted on and have not been to Photo of the Day in WEEKS. I am sorry I cannot stay caught up over there, but it was stressing me out so much I was reading on the RAZ at stop lights. That is dangerously close to
"DISing while driving"
and I don,t want to be guilty of that, so I have to quit
COLD TURKEY.

I can't believe how we are functioning without our refrigerator (the two little ones on the back patio have been holding us over). No bringing left-overs home... And really no cooking because that requires storage... as it is the room in the little ones is holding the rice /chicken for the dogs! Where ARE our priorities???

I believe we met her at Pirate Night. All cruise long you could see DIS crzrs, shirts, or wrist bands. There were alot of 'em. The Castaway Club reception, usually held at one of the Beat Street Clubs, not this time. Deck 9 & 10 full. Its was amazing.
I think they said there were over 2,000 repeaters.
