Oh Marilyn... you know I'd do ANYTHING for you... :goodvibes :goodvibes

And I have you on my list... I'll have my people call yours...

Of course if I make it in Dec... you can try and convince me yourself...

(hint... chocolate works...):rolleyes1

What do you mean IF you make it in Dec? IF??? :confused3

Why? do you have plans???? :goodvibes

I'm workin on it babe... I really am... this one deal goes through... I can move into the Poly for a year... (although I may get a little heavy after all that tonga toast... )

Hey Cruise Dudes and Dudettes.

Just checking in. Had a phone call with my brother...nudging him to book this cruise NOW!!! Taunted him with a sideways cat 11 (still availble next door to Cheri on the other side) or a regular cat 11 across the hall from his lovely sisters. Told him the rate hasn't gone up...YET.

Two weeks from today we head to DISNEYLAND! :cool1:  :cool1: Can't wait to do the parks with Cheri, Ian & Sukie! :thumbsup2 I wonder if Michelle will be there too.............fingers crossed!

THEN.....the Friday after that is the magical ONE YEAR date for this cruise! :dance3:

Did you all hear that Capt. Tom on the Magic said the 2010 dates/itineraries will be announced in OCTOBER? Guess I'd better set aside a little deposit money, eh?

Have a great Friday everyone.

.

October!?!? That's early. Kind of makes me wonder if they'll be going anywhere special or not after all.:confused3 Well, you know, now that I think about it. They cancelled a Halloween Party for Oct. 3 and the rumor is is that there is supposed to be some sort of press event in the Magic Kingdom that night. Maybe involving DCL...:rolleyes1

Michelle is still praying...for a change in circumstances and schedule...

Love the news about Capt Tom:cool1: I heard a rumor that a cruise to Hawaii and then on to Hong Kong was in the works:banana: Alaska also:woohoo:

Yes, I remember those rumors from the podcast. Latest 'leanings' seem to be back to the Med....but it could be DCL is planting them to trick us. (They really hate it when they can't surprise us!)

I think if there was a repositioning cruise to Asia, I'd pick the leg from Hawaii back to the west coast OR I'd go back through the Panama Canal in the westbound direction again. Ah well, we'll see what happens...I sure wouldn't mind the Med if they were cruising the Baltic or the Greek Isles. :thumbsup2 And Alaska would be a slam dunk! ::yes::

Jackie...

We get on in Asia and we don't get off again until PC... that should be enough time for me... :goodvibes

Wouldn't that be heaven? :cloud9: I think I'd need one of those mid-ship Cat 3's for that journey.

Just saw a post on laughingplace from a cruiser who was talking to Capt Tom and asked if the new ships could go to Alaska. Capt Tom answered...The MAGIC could go to Alaska TOMORROW! :rolleyes1

Tomorrow it's going through the canal... maybe Tuesday... ;)

I guess we'll just have to wait and see where that ship goes, but hopefully I'll be on it.

It is Heaven:woohoo: my wife Cheryl and I spent 25 days on the Magic  going across the Big pond and around the Med in a Cat 2 it was GREAT :cheer2: never had a bad day

How did you enjoy the crossing? I think I'd really want a bigger ship (a new DCL one would do :thumbsup2 ) for that journey. If they go back to the med, and it's not ports of call that thrill me, I think I may go for the repositioning anyway. (But I'll be in my little Cat 11 cave unless I can interest a sister or pal to join me.)

We did the crossing and loved it. I would do it again in a heartbeat if they offered it. The sea days are my favorite, so six in a row really didn't bother me at all.

How did you like the Cat. 2? That's what we're staying in for this cruise and we're really looking forward to it and I'd love to hear all about it from someone who's actually stayed in it.

The crossing was one of our most memorable journeys aboard the magic.:cloud9:
I wonder if Disney would ever do an "around the world cruise".....:sail:

An around the world cruise would be amazing, but I don't think I have enough vacation time for that.:rotfl2:

. . . But now I want to go to Aruba for a week, or do what Woody is doing and see the Cook islands. I also want to go to Bora Bora and stay in a grass hut on a pier over the ocean--or maybe that is Tahiti.
Hello All,

The Cook Islands are wonderful, and Cook Islanders are so genuinely friendly.

After 10 nights on the Cook Islands, we moved on to New Zealand. So far, we visited Auckland, Rotorua, Napier, and arrived last night in Wellington where our B&B has high speed internet access.

Woody

Sounds like a wonderful trip. Can't wait to hear more about it when you get back.

Oh man, Woody, I REALLY want to see New Zealand. Would you please bring a New Zealander home for me? :worship:

Glad to hear you are having a wonderful time.
