You'll be vacationing for about six weeks in Orlando. That's going to be so sweet. You will be well rested and ready for Carolyn and family to come and visit. It will be so great to get away for so long.

I know and I have John to thank for that!!! Oh, and being old and just about retired of course, and having the time. It is really our 40th wedding anniversary trip, and started off going to be a motoring holiday in the west, visiting LA, SF,etc etc. Then we booked the QM2 and added a few weeks to drive up from Orlando to NY. Then, when Carolyn mentioned going to Orlando, we jumped at the chance to be with them, so kept the long vacation.

Just popped in to say 'hi' and to wish you all a Happy Weekend. It's Mark's birthday today so we've had a lovely day out shopping and great lunch in Reading, by the riverside

I think he's had a good day, though we did say reminisce that this time alst year we were in Florida celebrating at the The Hard Rock

Yes, it is perfect at that time of the year isn't it. We will certainly enjoy it.

I will have happy and sad memories on the anniversary of the start of our last cruise though.

I'm happy that our thread is still going but I'm sad that so many people are moving on to other threads and other meets because they're moving on and the family of Thieves are leaving the nest.

I seem to be going through a lot of "empty nest syndrome" lately. Oh well, I'll get used to the differences and learn to adapt. Of course as soon as I get used to it and I like it, someone will be asking to move back in with us again. It happened to us before. It will probably happen again.

Don't you just HATE medical procedures and tests and doctors! It's the worst possible thing.

I hope it goes quickly and easily for you Angel. Then I hope you won't have to go back again for a long, long time.

I have found it really hard Deb. We sailed together, made some good friends, and then they don't post. So strange. I feel sad when I see them chatting on other threads(like we are doing here as it happens!!! ).

I think it would be better if they did the other threads and still did the PC one too.

Weekends only Jackie. It's ok though. I didn't much feel like sticking to it this week either. This is the first time that has happened to me. Anyway, it's Friday so it's a weekend. I'm ordering pizza for tonight.

Yes, we must 'do' afternoon tea with Monica!!! I have been wondering where she is. She was meeting karen(Custard Tart) at Beaches and Cream on Wednesday, but I have only seen 1 quick post from her since.
