Printed out most of the door signs this weekend...need to re do our logo tho - ran out of blue ink haha

Put the hold on the mail....went to the wine store this weekend to figure out what wines Ian & I are sharing....and got nothing else done for the cruise.

Still need to call cc company....go by Guest Relations at DTD to get my Disney Rewards card...need to color my hair & then I guess I need to pack (after I do the laundry, that is). It'll be a busy week!

My lawn STILL needs more rain Normally in the summer in Florida you DO get rain every day - but usually it's for about 1 hr then it stops. Marilyn---when you went through when you were here last was more unusual

Sorry to be so late popping in. Dave (drclaws) and I are in 6580. This is our fifth Disney cruise - but it's been two long years since the last one. We seem to be stalking FLTINK, as we were on the cruise when she got married, and met up on a cruise after that. Or, since we booked first, maybe she's stalking us.

No kids, just cats. We have three at the moment, Smokey (the elder statescat at 9) and Denny and Zoe, mischievious siblings who are 1. We wouldn't give up Denny and Zoe for anything, but have learned the hard way that it's not a good thing when the cats outnumber the people.

We live in South Jersey, across the river from Philadelphia.

We're spending two days at Boardwalk before the cruise. We had DVC points to use before the end of November, so we swapped one night at the Hyatt and Disney transfers for two nights at BWV and towncar service. Pretty much broke even on the cost.

We're going to Mickey's Not So Scary on the 11th. We're usually down in mid December, so we need to take advantage of the chance to go to the Halloween Party. Thought about trying to get the dessert party on the 10th, but not with all the wonderful food/calories/points awaiting us on the Magic.

Ian, I'm a lapsed WW. I love your view on "priorities" over "willpower". Makes a lot of sense to me. I only wish I had a leader like you waiting for me when I'm ready to go back.

If we have enough ambition, maybe we'll finally get to Jellyrolls on the 10th and look for fellow Disers/cruisers. We really need this vacation, so we're trying not to schedule ourselves very much. We are taking the morning island tours in Tortola and St. Thomas. Figured it was a way to get a feel for the islands without too much work.

As you might be able to tell, I'm in full "let's go" mode for the cruise. It feels a lot like waay too much caffeine!

Hope to meet a lot of you. We love Cove Cafe. the deck 4 comfy chairs, the quiet pool, and decks nine and ten at night.

Hi Kathy and welcome!!! We love cats here, but haven't had any since the Jan 2nd 2000, when our cat Nutty went walkabouts and never came home!! Don't think the continuing Millennium fireworks that afternoon helped.

TUT, it is looking like a wet 5 days before the cruise!! That isn't how it is meant to be!!

Ugh! Hopefully the forecast will change by then. My cousins went to WDW this past May and said it down poured so bad the entire time that they never even bothered going to the parks. They have been there over 60 times and that is the first time it was so bad. Harry and I have always had gorgeous weather on our trips. I hope we continue the trend!

It was so cold here yesterday and last night that the heat actually kicked on during the night. I did not appreciate this preview of winter. I was freezing all day. DD shaved Harry's head this weekend. He said his head was cold. He is always hot when I am cold. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised that Harry looks good with no hair. DD actually liked it better and told him he should keep it that way even after chemo. She said he looks younger.

We were very lazy this weekend and now we are kicking ourselves for getting nothing accomplished. Oh well, both DGD's will be in school on Wednesday so I will have more time then.

Hi and welcome. There is a meet in the Promenade Lounge at 3pm on embarkation day. I think most other things are on Posts 1 and 2 on this thread.

There is champagne Girls(Champagne tasting for the ladies) at 2pm on the Sunday, probably Diversions. EllaEnchanted is organising this. Shots around the Ship is at 9.30pm on Sunday night beginning in the Promenade Lounge and moving on if wanted. Iankh is organising this. I can't remember what else!!

There is a DIS meet at 3pm on the Saturday in the Promenade Lounge. There is also another get together on Sunday at 9.30 ish called "Shots around the Ship" organized by Iankh - its a casual "get to know you" gathering.
