I think our Jackie is going to be taking it easy this weekend.

But net, net, are gal is A-OK.

thanks for letting us know.

and now I see you posting yourself Jackie :thumbsup2 glad you are A ok :thumbsup2

:dance3::yay::banana:HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAY! :banana::yay::dance3:

Hope you are still celebrating.

Cheri, sorry can't help with the weather, it's humid here as we had a storm last night. Wave as you drive by.

I've been spending the whole morning sleeping for 50 minutes, reading for 10, sleeping for 50. Feel the need to move around a bit, shower and take another pill and repeat the cycle. WHY didn't I bring some books from Peg's house? :confused3 Looks like I'll have to pull out some old favorite to re-read.

And, yes, there were cruise documents at my house too! :woohoo:

Hi Tortolains and welcome PecoBill!

Thanks Ian for posting my well-being!

I fell asleep in pre-op wating on the doctor and I've pretty much slept since Jose brought me home. And now...well, let's just say the vicoden is working! Only a couple of stiches since we only had to do a biopsy (YEAH!) and the doctor said he gave me the Walt Disney World special so I should be good to go for anything except the most jerkey of rides (so no Dinosaur or Star Tours I guess).

I'll check in later, don't want to sit for too long at one time just yet. :upsidedow

.Edited to add: as I sit her at Peg's computer I notice a little white package from Celebration FL....I wonder what that is? hehe I wonder if there will be one at my house??

.

Glad to hear you are on the good side of the surgery. Always better to have it behind us rather than waiting for it to happen. Take it slow and easy . You want to be in the best shape possible for this trip.

Last time I had surgery the meds made me sleep so much that I actually lost some weight. Too bad I found it again. Wonder :scratchin how that happened?

Hi everyone

I just booked this cruise for myself and my two children. I am new to posting on message boards, though I have read them before in the past for info.

But I couldn't resist joining in and posting with a group of people that will all be on this cruise!

I was going to wait and surprise my kids, but I realized that since I will be out of town up until the 11th, if I waited to tell them after I get home from that it would be "hey, we cruise tomorrow"

So I thought it would be fun to get ready together, so I told them today. They are ages 6 and 10 and are super excited.

This is going to be a wonderful (or should I say MAGICal) cruise!

Wow this is the first time I have noticed a cruise section on this forum.Anyway me and my family are also going on this cruise and we cant wait. You should have seen us when our tickets arrived today:laughing:

Well! Looks like it's happening again. They get that picture of DH and change the head and only use his body. Just don't :confused3 understand why they don't think bald men are sexy. I surely do.

Welcome to the cruise, and to the DIS.

thanks Kay

I will be flying into your area for the trip I will be on before the cruise - flying into San Jose in order to go to the Monterey area.

I'm still just doing the cruise happy dance. This will be our first "real" cruise, according to my kids. We tried one out at Halloween last year - just a 3 night - and we loved it. It was over way to soon.

Welcome to the wonderful world of registered DISers!

You are going to love a seven day cruise. :thumbsup2\

Just transferred over my Disney rewards dollars, that's an extra $158 to play with! :woohoo:It goes to the WDW portion of the trip for some of those lovely meals and a Dole Whip (or two).

Thanks Jackie!

I think we will love it too. Now we will get to do a few things and relax as well. The three night was only long enough to convince us that we needed to do it again. And it showed me that the cruise is what I call the "single mom's sanity saver" - even on that short cruise, it was the first vacation I have taken with the kids where I was able to have one too! So I'm sure the 7 day will be heaven.

I need to do that too, as well as cash in my 'cruise' jar (a place where I have been throwing change and any CRV refunds from bottles.) Definitely can get a few DODs from that change.

Nanette and Kay -

I'll be on retreat at Asilomar near Monterey in Pacific Grove. (it's on the coast - but you probably already know that!)

I think the beach there is beautiful.

But I do love that I can get in the water at home year round (without a wetsuit I mean)

Funny, I did that today too. Empty out my Disney Reward dollars, and loaded the card.

Welcome Oceanbec. I agree, a 3 day is waaayyy too short. We did a trial 4 day for the first one, got hooked and cruise every year since. Look out, you will get hooked too. We got our adult daughters hooked as well. Bad parents that we are:)
