So exciting!!!!!!!!! Here's to good weather Any details on your plans? What are you going to wear? Is it the two of you or are others going along on the cruise for your wedding? Please excuse me if you have already said the scoop - this thread moves pretty fast and I don't know that I am up on everything.

It was going to be a whole wedding...we invited 60 people or so...but most couldn't make it...so we decided to just do the small ceremony and we will have a reception when we get back to Charleston. The only people coming are the ones that were already booked and couldn't cancel w/o penalty when we decided to do the reception. That is my best friend and her fiance and DFs mom/stepdad...and of course us! Everyone else is going to wait for us to come home to celebrate. Not too happy about the mom coming along...she is a little wacky! We were hoping she would cancel and just come to the reception.
I am wearing a wedding dress...very casual one though. DF is doing khaki shorts and a button down shirt.
We couldn't book the ceremony thru DCL b/c they already had 3 for our sailing...so I used a company I found on St. Thomas. It is MUCH more affordable too! Now we just have to make it there....

Did you book directly or thru a TA?

Did they come in the mail or UPS?

I saw the FEDEX truck come on our street today...not for us though!

We haven't recieved ours yet. We booked thru DU from the get go (no transferring for us). I noticed that those on the east coast have gotten theirs. I'm wondering if they send them out by regions (international, then east coast, Midwest, then west coast). We'll see I guess. We're from the Midwest and my mail doesn't come 'til 3pm (Central Time) so maybe it'll get here today.

For anyone who is wondering (and I know it's alot of you...)

Mom and I have set a cut off date for when we can safely book the cruise...

It is Sept 4th so it still gives me time.

Things ARE progressing... keep praying to whatever God or Saint of high finances that the money goes through...

So... for now.. Please keep me on all lists... FE, etc...

I am sorry if this is an inconvienence to anyone...

I have the proverbial fingers crossed and have been putting positive vibes out into the Universe that you get that check so that you and Barb can get on this boat. I can't even imagine this cruise without you.

PS. The congressman's assistant that's helping me with the VA is promising me that I will receive at least a one month check before leaving for vaca. I'll take it!

We live in Florida and have not received ours yet. Ours reservation is through DU.

Lordy! Lordy! What have I gotten myself into? Guess I never thought about gift tags. Do all of you do that? What do you put on them? Just your name? Is there a Disney site where I can find them to print? Do you wrap the gifts also? HELP!!!

Our first storm interrupted cruise was cut short by only a few hours. We arrived back at PC around 10 pm Friday night instead of Saturday morning and we still had a nice day at CC too. Hurricane Jeanne was the culprit of that one.

Hi Emily, unless this happened more than once...me and John were on that cruise too. It was an Eastern but I'm not sure what year. We were given a room at the dolphin overnight with a courtesy breakfast the next morning. Then we were given 50% off of our next cruise if taken within one year. That's why we love Disney. It was a pretty bad storm though. The boat was rockin all the way back to PC. They had all open bars....free drinks that last day racing back to PC. So many people including crew members were getting sick. Fortunately for us, me and John were fine. We had a blast.

I booked directly with DCL. They came UPS. I live about 100 miles from Celebration, FL.
