September 12, 2009 ~ Last Call for Tortola! Thread 3

Just saw a post where a 9/19 sailing verandah got a 'pixie dust' upgrade to a Cat 4. Since we had some cruisers turn down the $$ offer from DCL, wouldn't be surprised to see someone get bumped up for free.

We should all probably take a look at our reservations this time next week...just to see if we have new homes!

We booked our cruise on DVC points, any chance we could still be upgraded? It would be great, but I'll be happy with our Cat. 9 stateroom. At least we have a view to the outside on our 1st cruise!

Thought I'd pop by and see how you're all doing now that it's getting closer. We're off on a cruise to the Med with NCL on Sunday....its not DCL or the Caribbean, but at least it's a cruise right?

....Still wish we coming along with you all to Tortola though!

DH and I got the $300 upgrade from Cat 6 to Cat 4 offer yesterday through our TA. We turned it down as well.

Last cruise we did get a free (and unrequested) upgrade from Cat 6 to Cat 4. While it was nice being on Deck 8 (we were under the spa, so it was quiet), we decided there were better ways to spend $300.

Well, this is good to know, since I'll probably be at the port before you and if we haven't gotten a free upgrade, I might beat you to a cheap one! I bet Dianne would be willing to pony up some $$ for those extra square feet and a chair in the Cat 4. Hmmmmmm....are there connecting Cat 4's? Where's my ship map.......
