The July 2 Wonder is not offering a FL discount at this time.

http://www.wdwinfo.com/discounts/discounts-cruise.htm#fl

HOWEVER...seeing that the booking date is TODAY, it may be that they are about to release another batch of cruises....perhaps...

Thanks, that's what she told me.. But she also said.. If I were to book it I'd get a $300 on board credit.. So I assume it's FL Rate OR an on board credit.

ETA: Saw This on the Main site:

Families looking for a fun-filled getaway can set sail this summer on the most magical ships at sea and receive $100 per day onboard spending credit with a verandah stateroom booking. This special offer is available on most Disney Cruise Line itineraries, including three-, four- and seven-night sailings to the Bahamas and the Caribbean.

For example, a guest who selects a verandah stateroom would receive a $700 onboard spending credit when booking a seven-night cruise, a $400 credit when booking a four-night cruise, or a $300 credit when booking a three-night cruise.

Sounds fine to me. If they are not posting they could be lurking, they could have canceled or they could be not even on the DIS at all.

I think the message should be the same to all. Can we send one PM to everyone or would it be better to send them individually. Do you want to do some? I welcome assistance with phrasing. You can PM me or post it here, whichever you prefer.

You can PM up to 5 people at a time...

Re: Fish extenders
We'll definately participate, but have a "guarantee" ressie, so won't know our room for a while.
I'll give the number of people in July but will wait closer to cruise date for rooms.
What happens if we or another participant upgrade our room at the port?[/QUOTE]
PHewwww...ibouncetoo just gave the answer.:goodvibes Was sweating for a few posts.

:rotfl:

How wonderful! Do you also want the gender of the kids? Sometimes it helps when getting the FE gifts.
thanks for all the work!!!!!!!
Sure that would be great. Any suggestions welcomed.

For port upgrades, that info can be shared at the 3PM DIS meet on embarkation day. So if you upgrade, make sure someone in your party makes it to the DISmeet to give out your new room number. :thumbsup2
WOW....didn't know there was a meet :grouphug:on embarkation date. Can't wait.

Didn't get Palo dinner for the night we were hoping (only a 9pm available- too late for me to eat dinner), but at least got it for one night. It didn't allow us to do any brunch or tea - said no reservations available, which also happened on our last cruise when we booked then at 105 days out via the REAS package. :confused3 Hopefully we will be able to score brunch on the wait list like before. We are going to probably be more adventurous and do some excursions on our own.

Yeh,, it looks like DCL is offering some killer OBC's for new bookings. Which is smart (for them). If they lowered prices or offered discounts, existing reservations could be altered to lower rates, this way the rates stay the same, just the perks improve. Wish I could take advantage of a spur of the moment 7 day cruise with $900 in OBC (when booked thru DU)! Heck, I'm pretty sure I couldn't SPEND $900 on the ship...at least not by myself! :lmao:

I got my ressie for the Sea Lion Swim at Coral World in St Thomas for 10am. Figure I'll head over to Paradise Point after that.....

Marilyn/Kaz - want to go up the Skyride thing w/ me?? (Not sure who else is planning this but would love company).

For Tortola - booked the Discover Scuba (who else was thinking about doing this???) Am thinking of doing a quick taxi tour of the island afterwards & maybe something else (like http://www.topofthebaths.com/) - anyone want to join me???

Isn't top of the baths over on Virgin Gorda (not Tortola)? Is your excursion on Tortola or Virgin Gorda? Di and I will be looking for a lunch spot on Tortola after our dolphin swim (which ends around 12:15ish). Someplace were we can go all 'beachy' looking..:lmao:That is to say, swimsuit coverup appropriate atmosphere.

As Jackie pointed out - Top of the Baths is on Virgin Gorda not Tortola - back to the drawing board :goodvibes

Well we are planning on Skyriding, just depends on linking timing etc. Still looking round for anything else short to do. Maybe just wander perhaps.

This sounds interesting for Tortola....

Has anyone heard of this place? Must see if I can find anything else on it.

Found this on another site....

Dining
Skyworld
Come up for a drink or a desert, always with a spectacular 360º panoramic view of the islands. Yes, many travelers, especially first timers, like to visit Skyworld, a trip into the clouds above Road Town. On the right is an antique observatory.
Surprising guests with the quality of its food, Skyworld (494-3567, open lunch and dinner) offers fine cuisine with dishes such as pumpkin soup, seafood chowder, and conch fritters. For dinner, try the Steak Diane and Steak with Peaches & Port, shrimp sauteed in garlic butter or grilled Dolphin. And a great selection of deserts is available all day, including fudge pie and key lime pie.

Sounding good to me :thumbsup2

Grilled dolphin????????????:scared1::sad1:

There's this place too.....hate the fact that these places don't have their own websites!

Never mind - doesn't appear that it's open when we need it to be.

Grilled dolphin????????????:scared1::sad1:

There is a dolphin FISH and a dolphin MAMMAL. People swim with the mammal. We eat the fish. Well, not me, I don't like fish, but people who like fish eat it. It may actually be the fish we now call Mahi-mahi since it got such a bad reputation when people thought restaurants were selling the mammal dolphin.

If you look at the fish on top of the DOLPHIN hotel at WDW--it is a fish, not the mammal kind. So the hotel is named for the FISH.

Feel better Marilyn?
