What is the point of semi-formal night anyway? Why have people pack and schlepp formal wear to wear only once? Why not just have 2 formal nights. I don't see the point of doing things by halves.

.

Well, as you say, It's Never Don Till It's OVERDONE!

How about on semi formal night you ware the tux with NO jacket, fez, scarlet sashes or a plaid waistcoat.....or there's alway the pink bullet belt. :lmao:

You got my attention. I'm warming to the idea.

I am just learning how to do this stuff... I wanted to add my families names to the list by me. Mike is my husband. the kids are Nick (9) and Lindsay (8). We are ready to go now!! See y'all soon.

Welcome Kimlovesdisney

My daughter Hanna is the same age as your Lindsay, they'll probably be in the clubs together. If you come to the Dismeet then I'm sure they'll be fast friends before it is over.

Love the idea of a fez and the sashes, but what the heck is a pink bullet belt? Not something we in the "country" are familiar with :rotfl2:

I agree, you might as well go over the top, why go half way?

This picture sure got me excited! What a great picture! My favorite spot on the ship. I cannot wait!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Welcome newbies!

I'm PIF...now to get that pesky airfare completed....by the end of the week or die I say :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Hi guys, can't stay and chat (but you know I'd liked to) have to get the kids at school.

Later :flower3:

Were you on time????? :confused3:confused3:confused3:confused3

Hi Kristen....yes, I booked the Island tour beach and lunch excursion. If we're both doing it we could share a table and do lunch together. John is not interested in doing the beach. He said he'll just grab a chair with an umbrella and keep the drinks coming. I'll probably snorkel and be in the water a lot. We would love to sit with you and spend the day together. It sounds like lots of fun.

We would love to hang with you guys - you may rethink that when you see that we are bringing our 2 year old daughter with us :scared1: It doesn't look like the time in the bus is too long - that may be the dicey part - she will be fine on the beach. Looking forward to meeting you guys:goodvibes

Hi Donna!!!

Hi Michelle! I see some good deals are popping up for this cruise. You know you and your mom are coming so you might as well grab a bargain.:thumbsup2

We also are paid in full. All that is left to do is get WDW tickets.:woohoo:

I still have to buy tickets to, but will wait till the beginning of August...as I'll be charging those puppies.

I still have to link dining with Peg and Paul, after 6/15 and have one final transport to decide on....will wait to see Nan's travel plans for that.

:thumbsup2

:yay:Good for you! I will be back on the Weight Watchers wagon when I go to a meeting tomorrow morning. Did it before and I know it works. Just have to stick to the program. Any tips?

OK it's a date. Just bring snacks for your daughter during the bus ride and she should be fine. We'll have fun that day.

I already got our WDW tickets.....7 day park hoppers with no expiration. One is Mickey and me and John both want that one and the other is Minnie. I told John he can have Mickey and I'll take Minnie. But I told him everytime he goes to use it, he has to show me Mickey first. Minnie at least has a DIS green background.

My best tip for anyone choosing a healthier way to eat...APPLY WHAT YOU KNOW. If you've had experience in the weight loss game, you know what does and doesn't work for you. Keep Remembering The Things That WORK.

Also, we have a WW leader here as one of our cruise mates, so we'll get lots of encouragement from him! :grouphug:

You'll have to discuss that with my travel agent...

PLANKY'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF TRAVEL

Taking on the world - One trip at a time...

(Planky is not responsible for anything that happens on your trip.
you thought of it... you get to keep it.... he offers no obc, no free drinks,
not even the promise of Mickey Bars actually making it to your rooms. Especially if your room is really close to his... Tours booked through Planky's Wonderful World of Travel will probably leave late and get back early so you will have plenty of time to buy cheap souvineers on the dock by the ship...
Don't forget your sunscreen and a wide brimmed hat... gratuities gratefully accepted... for what... we don't know... but they are accepted...)

Hi....I'm doing WW too.....so far, 5 weeks on and 12 lbs less. YEAH. My biggest tip would be to follow the program....it works....don't change it. Don't try to make exceptions and then justify them. That won't work. If you follow the plan, it will work. You can always come here for encouragement too. Good Luck!

- Find a meeting day and time that works for you and doesn't conflict with anything.

- Find a leader that works for you

- Find a group that works for you

- Follow the plan, track everything, and increase your activity little by little

Saturday morning is a BIG milestone for us. We will be making our ADRs for the trip.

Well, in reality I will be a work, Jackie will be making the ADRs for the trip.

But it is a milestone of sorts.

We (Sukie and I) are all set as far as the parks are concerned. We got our annual passes during this last trip at the beginning of May.

Both Jason and I are on the weight loss train. He's gone pretty much vegetarian and I'm semi-vegetarian. I still have to have some real meat every once in awhile. I don't know exactly how much weight we've both lost, but we're doing pretty good so far.

Sukie is a vegetarian and has been one for over 30 years, he's not vegan, as he eats dairy and eggs.

There was quite a fuss during our Panama Canal cruise, or rather I should say I made quite a fuss during the cruise, because at Castaway Cay, they told him they didn't have any vegetarian options and suggested he eat bread and potato salad.

It was an issue I would not let drop.

I understand that there are now signs posted on Castaway Cay to ask about vegetarian options.

On Sundays, I lead Weight Watcher meetings. I lost 90 pounds.
