Very odd to see Tara in the True Blood series to the Tara in the Book.. You'd think it was 2 different people

I know what you mean...the little bit of True Blood I've seen on youtube had me confused for a while. In the tv show she's a waitress??? I can't wait till it's out on DVD (mid-May) so I can rent and watch.




There were wedding bells in our family this week! Paul (our brother) and Jill tied the knot! They've been together for years, but made it official before starting their life as retirees. Now we have MORE to celebrate on this cruise.

Hello from Indonesia. Mrs. Woody and I are at an internet cafe. It's very cheap compared to the cost on the ship. (One hour for only US$ .65)

Yeterday we visited Singapore, which is the nicest port we ever visited. The port terminal is new, clean, and carpeted, with an adjacent shopping mall. Singapore was exceptionally clean, has an efficient subwaqy system, and the whole area is a delight to visit.

Our next stop is Bangkok. It's an overnight stop, so we will stay overnight at a hotel in the city.

Yeterday we visited Singapore, which is the nicest port we ever visited. The port terminal is new, clean, and carpeted, with an adjacent shopping mall. Singapore was exceptionally clean, has an efficient subwaqy system, and the whole area is a delight to visit.

Our next stop is Bangkok. It's an overnight stop, so we will stay overnight at a hotel in the city.

Brother and his bride and sister Peg and DH have booked Best Western ocean view rooms for the two nights before the cruise. Paul is retiring this month, so now they know they will drive down (from NC) and do some 'visiting' then relax on the beach for a day before the cruise.

Now that we won't be staying at the Hyatt the night before, I need to see if big sis wants to join me at WDW and we'll all meet up with them at the terminal..or..will she and I join them in Cocoa Beach for Friday night? decisions.....decisions......

It's a win-win-win situation. I'm going to pay him to come and stay, but it will be MUCH, MUCH less than the $90 a night (times 15 or 16 nights). So he gets some much needed cash (that's he's putting towards a long weekend with me later in the winter in WDW), I save a BUNCH of money, and Truman and Tallulah get to stay home.

Woody - I would love to hear about the food there. Do you speak many languages?


Regarding the cruise - we are still waiting impatiently for Southwest to release their Sept. dates and hoping for something good. Not sure if we are going to try to stay at the Hyatt or go for Port this time for Friday night. Probably something near the port I think.

Forgot to post that I spent a lovely part of Saturday afternoon sitting at Ghiradelli's with Karen (aka Kaz, aka Custardtart).

It was a joy to see her again (I met her on her October trip to WDW - we did Beaches & Cream that time.....do I see a trend here?)

We had good ice cream & great laughs.
