Angel food is Fat Free.. ;)

This was Before I added the Hearts

Calories are a measure of taste. :rotfl:

The fewer the calories the less good the taste. Angelfood cake has no fat so little taste. But it looks nice so that makes me happy. :goodvibes

If it was in my house, it would go stale before I ate it as it is only air.
:confused3 sorry, but I like dense calories like CHOCOLATE

Hi Jan, I just checked out page one.....what a fantastic job you are doing. Thank you so much!!!!

I just wanted to note that John and I fit into all five categories that you have mentioned......FE, SATS, CG, OGAA, B2B. We're doing it all!!!! So please add the additional initials after our name. Thank you so much once again.

DEB! I was just going to start hunting you down, girl!

JAN, you can put all three of those jumpy guys next to me on page one also. :thumbsup2

Happy "President's Day" everyone. I'm off today, but not because we are closed...it's one of my unpaid 'furlough' days. Hope to get some chores done as I've done nothing but play all weekend. We'll see............:upsidedow

7-Night Barcelona to Dover Cruise

If cancellation request is received 120 or more days prior to the vacation commencement date 100% of the amount of the vacation price will be refunded; ohterwise cancellation fees will apply.

That 7 night ending up in Dover has always appealed to me. Wonder if I can handle the airfare for TWO trips to Spain. :confused3 Wonder if this will stll be offered in Sept? I know there's no way I could do the Sept Med before the repo...don't think they'd go for that at work. Off to the main board for more details.

Hi Jackie....I'm still here. I was just MIA for a bit because of pain in the legs after a dr. visit and the meds that I take for the pain. I was out of it for just a bit. I'm good to go now. The doctor is happy that the legs are improving and I'm off the pain meds so all is doing well.

I'm getting very very excited about this cruise. Only seven more months or as Marilyn's ticker says......6 months, 3 weeks and 6 more days. After all, the one year date since our last cruise is coming up. That means it's been too long and we're due to take another one!!! Yeah!!!

Have any of you booked your airlines for this cruise yet?

I'll be waiting till April 7th when the SWAir window opens, but I was wondering about those of you who fly other airlines. Is it better to book now, or do you see rates go down closer in?

Ian....do you use AA or United for your FL trips? I was looking up stuff for Dianne and saw AA has an 11:30AM Saturday return. Have you tried to fly out that early? United as a non-stop flight a little later on, but Di hates them!

Are you talking about flying back early directly from a Cruise?

For my normal trips to WDW, I've taken AA or SW. We tend to take early flights at about 10AM, so we can pick up the dogs from boarding.

I would panic with a 10am flight. I suppose though that the ships very rarely if at all are late docking.

To take the thread in a slightly different way, but a little bit related..

Does anyone know, if you do an organized DCL snorkel tour, do they provide the flippers. Neil and I have our own sets, but are contemplating not bringing the flippers (just our masks and snorkels) to save luggage space. :confused3

We haven't booked yet, but I did look last week at Delta. It was $265 round trip from Huntsville to Orlando, which actually isn't too bad. We might have to jump on that one before too long b/c I know it won't get any cheaper.:rotfl:

Still waiting on SWA's window to open to book our flights. Hoping to catch a direct flight down early so we can visit KSC for the day.

Just booked a room at the Comfort Inn & Suites in Cocoa Beach. Is anyone else planning on staying overnight at the port or is everyone staying at WDW?

We always stay two nights in Cocoa Beach at the Holiday Inn Oceanfront before the cruise and we meet up with DISers staying near the Port. We go to Fishlips right on the water in the path of the Disney cruise ships.

We do 4 or 5 nights at WDW after the cruise just to wein ourselves off of the mouse before heading home. I would never be able to go home directly off a cruise.....I would be too sad.

We already have the hotel and rental car booked. We usually drive to FL. This year we are considering flying because we can go from ABE our local Allentown airport right into Sanford/Orlando. We hate using big airports. We can get a good deal on Allegiant Air. I have already priced it at $178 round trip per person. It takes just over 2 hours and we're there. I have to wait two more months before I can book it though.

Want to meet at Fishlips the night before boarding???

Cheri, how about you??? Are you staying near the port again???

Hi Kay, not to worry.....on all DCL snorkel trips they provide all of the equipment. Me and my DH also have our own masks and snorkels but we don't have flippers....we just use theirs.

We'll just give him a muffin at breakfast and send him on his way...

gotta pick up the pooches... they get very surely when left at boarding school for too long...

Tallulah begins to plan her ski holidays in Gstad with the new friends she's made...

Yes, Ian, I did mean directly from the ship. I know in Dec '07 when we had OUR OWN BUS* to the airport, we were able to drop people off for a couple of flights before noon and I know I've been in the airport and through security in enough time for a 11:30AM flight. I was hoping for encouragement from folks who have done that.

Deb, Cheri will be in WDW with us pre-cruise.

Peg and Jose plan to arrive on Thursday and stay at the Hyatt Thu and Fri night, so Jose can have a day to sleep BEFORE his vacation starts! :lmao: Peg will read books, maybe swim and shop until the rest of the crew arrives Friday afternoon/evening. Peg & Jose are doing Kenedy Space Center after the cruise, then heading to WDW for a few days after that. I (they) don't know where they are staying Sat in CocoaBeach/PC yet. I just mentioned to her yesterday that she may want to look at reserving a car also...I hear those rates are going up.

I had planned to go back to the Hyatt the night before the cruise, as I thought Peg would want the family there together for dinner that night and the commute to the ship. But she just said that wasn't necessary, so I can stay and play at WDW all day Friday! :woohoo: (We haven't decided where we are putting Dianne that night!)

This means we could organize some kind of group transport from WDW to PC Saturday AM. I'll check out some of the limo options. I'm pretty sure there were at least 15 of us in the Hummerzine last May and we had a van follow behind with the luggage. I know my share wasn't any MORE than DCL and probably less and it was WAY more fun! I've also done the above mentioned* BUS. My cruise-mate hired an entire bus for us to go from SSR to PC and then from PC to MCO. We only had about 22 people and our share was $30 each way...would be less with a bigger group (the bus probably holds 50-60). I'll try and get contact info from her. Anyway...stuff to think about.
