We are from the Gold Coast, about an hour south of Brisbane. Beautiful place, we love it.

Brisbane was our favourite place, we stayed for a week but wished we had been able to stay longer......I know we will be back there one day.

We love it here, we have been to a few places around the word, apart from Castaway Cay LOL, I can't think of anywhere I'd rather live.

II think we're going to have the same problem, just booked this as our second DCL cruise and already planning 2012.

To what we are used to yes!!!! However, once Karen finds out if she can get her holiday dates she will start a new thread and we can get planning. I hope she can get the holiday. I thought it was yesterday she would hear.

i'm getting really frustrated with this now, havent seen my manager for best part of a week and was hoping to have an answer today, but my area manager wants the letter i wrote requesting the holiday leave, so it now needs to be posted to her, and i've got longer to wait but my manager has written on it my reason for wanting the time off and that she approves and wants me to get it. so fingers crossed
i'm still more than happy to start and maintain the new thread but still waiting to hear back if i've got the time off yet. if you guys want the new thread now, claire has kindly offered too so she could maybe do it, or i'll do it as soon as i find out.

How frustrating for you Karen. I hate delays like this when I am planning, though it does sound positive for you. Is there any reason they wouldn't let you have the time off?

We can wait for you for the thread no problem. We can be thinking of a name, and perhaps activities etc we might like.

i think there's no rhyme or reason to who gets holiday approved and who doesnt, i think a lot of it boils down to if she's in a good mood or not!
i guess i could use this waiting time to think of new FE ideas......

Hi there. It is only 10 weeks today to the PC cruise. Goodness me, I haven't even finished ironing and sorting out from this last TA cruise yet. However, I have just put things on the spare bed that I think will get packed again, so that was easy this time.

There were alot of tastings, I didn't go to any, silly gallbladder, although I did have a few cocktails and I was fine, everything in moderation I suppose?
Yes, I read about the extension, apparently for when they do they alaskan so they have more indoor areas??? It looks interesting.
We DEFINITELY HAVE TO do FE's, we loved it, It was so much fun!

I am so excited for you, 10 weeks until you cruise again, more than 10 months for us, Oh well, It's worth waiting for!

Hello all! Just checking in to say "Hi"! Trying not to stress too much over my Texas Rangers performing below par right now I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Halloween weekend! My 4-year-old is still torn between Cinderella or Snow White. She was Tinkerbell last year. We are headed to Curt's work tomorrow because the headquarters get decked out for Halloween, so I guess I'll know what she is tomorrow morning when she puts one on!
