Morning Michelle. It is a hard time for animals, but at least they have put a stop to most of the issues with fireworks going off for months. We used to have a cat that was terrified. You have to get them inside so early as if they are out when they start going off they can run off to hide somewhere and be out all evening. Poor things. Did you see a post on the other site about folk taking dogs to a firework display and one bolting off down the middle of the road. All the owner could say was it would make it's way home.
Yes, it really is a great display here, and it is free apart from lots of jangling buckets around asking for donations. The Lions do it for charity and really get a very large amount of money. They have food stalls and the like too. Best thing for us is the fireworks are first, then they light the bonfire so we go home then.
Oh, cold here too, but just beautiful out. Very autumnal. We had a quick brisk walk and now have a lovely coffee back home.
Hope you have a good day.
