We will be 2 days in Los Angeles, and trying so go to a Dr. Phil show just for fun.

Estubia just posted the following:

Disney Dream in Madeira
Yes, that's true!

From last Wednesday's newspaper, I got the news that Disney Dream, coming right out of it's German construction dockyard and on its way to Florida, will be in Madeira on December 26th, for a tecnical and refueling stop.

It will bring no passengers, only crew members, technicians, guests and other individualities, related to the construction of the ship.

Disney Dreams' maiden cruise will start on January 26th.

Happy cruising!

Hello everyone:wave:

We've actually been booked on this cruise for awhile, but didn't know for sure if we would be sailing as we needed to find decent flights first.
We've just booked our flights so it looks as though we'll be sailing along with you.

Looking forward to getting to know you, if you'll let me:)
Some of you I recognize from the UK forums and other boards.

Welcome Squitty, Yay, newbies, the thread is definitely picking up!!! :cool1:

just booked myself on this cruise! Not sure yet if it'll indeed happen or not, but at least it's booked. Was kinda surprised -happily- there was an accessible stateroom left. They tend to be hard to come by, esp. if you're very specific in which ones of those you'ld want and which not like me. So a big :woohoo: when one did still turned out available.

Hi and Welcome

Noel, one of the things I was so impressed with was that you came all the way over to Orlando to see us off on the PC cruise. You took Nan and Molly into DTD, and John and I met you there and sat by the water at the Margarita Bar before the big meet at the theatre there. You went to other meets at the hotel too and met other folk there.

I really don't think I could have done that for a cruise I should have been on, I really don't. I would have cried all the way home and been so depressed.:sad1:

Noel, that is so sweet and just what I'd expect from you, always thinking of others, so selfless of you. :goodvibes

Hi everyone,
I booked the WBTA while we were on the EBTA in April!! We are so excited, too bad it is such a long wait. We are a family of 4, myself, husband Darren and 2 daughters, Mallory(12) and Mackenzie (9). We are from Newfoundland, Canada and love Disney Cruising! Looking forward to meeting everyone!! We had the best time ever on the EBTA and hear that the WBTA is even better!!! In the meantime we are doing the Mexican Riveira in February to tie us over till September!!! The WBTA will be our 6th cruise and we will finally be Gold Castaway club members!

Welcome, We have 2 daughters also, Lucy will be 10 and Bella is turning 9 on board. ;)

Oh No Connie, I am so sad to hear that.
Thank-you so much for volunteering to help with the pins, they really were great quality and price, I don't think we could do better.

My life is hectic right now, Only 3 weeks left of our school year then I will have all the time in the world to plan and chat :yay:

Connie and I were discussing using the card from last year on the back and a new design on the front that will match the pin. We really need to get the theme firmed up so I can ask Jordak to help us design a pin.

Like last year we will need to have 100 pins on order for about 4,5 to 5 Euros each for us to make the pins.

Good morning fellow WBTA'ers.

It was Bonfire Night yesterday, but we are going to the town organised bonfire and firework display tonight with most of our family. Always a great community time - the only such thing all year!!

They actually do a fantastic firework display, and I don't ever need to complain about how poor it is up to Disney. They did music a couple of years ago, but we couldn't hear it, and I don't think the fireworks were done to the music, but the show is still fantastic.

Then back to or son's for baked potatoes, pie and peas and toffee.:thumbsup2

Morning Maz

We never went out last night.
I had to take the dogs out in between bursts of fireworks. I have 3 labradors. Luckily there weren't spooked by any of the loud bangs, whizzes etc.

Your firework display sounds great:)

It's freezing cold here today, but sunny. I can't wait to get some warm sunshine on my bones.

Morning Michelle. It is a hard time for animals, but at least they have put a stop to most of the issues with fireworks going off for months. We used to have a cat that was terrified. You have to get them inside so early as if they are out when they start going off they can run off to hide somewhere and be out all evening. Poor things. Did you see a post on the other site about folk taking dogs to a firework display and one bolting off down the middle of the road. All the owner could say was it would make it's way home.:sad2:

Yes, it really is a great display here, and it is free apart from lots of jangling buckets around asking for donations. The Lions do it for charity and really get a very large amount of money. They have food stalls and the like too. Best thing for us is the fireworks are first, then they light the bonfire so we go home then.

Oh, cold here too, but just beautiful out. Very autumnal. We had a quick brisk walk and now have a lovely coffee back home.

Hope you have a good day.

I did see that post, I couldn't reply. It's terrible what some put their pets through. One of our dogs that has passed now, used to be petrified of fireworks and would sit and shake very badly on bonfire night. He used to be like this if our neighbours cut their grass too...but not when we used to cut our grass:confused:

Your display sounds very organised:thumbsup2

Yes, I've been out with the dog this morning and it was very picturesque.

Hope you have a nice day too.

No Maz, I don't have a FB account. I know I must be one of the few that don't :)

Perhaps we can persuade you? There are a few on the cruise who are 'friends'. I do know some people don't like Facebook though.

Hi everyone. Happy Saturday!

I hope you have a fun evening at the firework display Maz. :)

We had a few going off last night but not as many as usual, thankfully it didn't really bother my dogs. One of them just sat watching them out of the window. :lmao: Maybe because of the rain all day yesterday most people will have them tonight instead.

That would be me ;)

Both my DD's have one but I don't like it.

I havent got a face book account either.
I have seen the trouble that 'can' come out of it. :sad1:. So this has put me off somewhat.

No firework displays for us, just a nice quiet weekend.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. :)
