Ok ummm where are our docs!! I booked like a WHOLE week ago!

Donnica, Don't worry! There's at least one other person who hasn't received their docs yet---ME! But no need to worry yet. A fellow co-worker who has gone on tons of Dis Cruises tells me the latest she's ever received hers was a week before the cruise. But I don't think any of us would let it get to that point! As anxious as we all are, we'd be calling every day asking where they are!

Don't worry, they'll come Monday.

Is it time yet? Can I go to the airport????

HEY! My son (3) asks me that EVERY day! LOL!!! In fact, today he told me he needs to pack his suitcase and did just that. Then he told me he's ready to go on the cruise and that I better get my car keys so I can drive us to the airport. Kids are SUCH great entertainment! Fortunately, the number of days left is small enough so I can kind of help him understand how many more days by telling him to count to that number. Then I tell him that's how many days before we leave! Sure, he doesn't understand the concept of time yet, but that sort of helps a little.

Hollytyler - I can't wait to meet you son. He sounds so funny and cute. He actually sounds like my niece. She's 5 oh no she corrected me the other day, she's 5 1/2. I got the Aunt Wendy I am not 5 anymore like 5 1/2 is soooo much older. We never know what's going to come out of her mouth.

Oh my gosh! They do sound so much alike! It's so funny because we they have such a serious look on their face when they say these things, don't they?! Little kids just crack me up!

I called my TA yesterday and my docs went in the mail on Tues. so I can't wait to open my mailbox today! If I'm disappointed today, surely they will be in there tomorrow!!

Good morning - where is everyone?? Only 16 more days!!! Quick question - I am trying to decide what to do. Is everyone planning on dressing up on pirate night or not?

I am 95% sure that we are NOT dressing up on pirate night. The only reason I say 95 is I might run to Party City or some other place like that to see what they have, but I am not going to spend a bunch of money on it. That's money for my souvenirs!

We probably are not dressing either. We made Palo dinner reservations for Wednesday. Depending if we can get Brunch reservations when we get on board that may change however.

bobbybear - if you end up at Palo on wednesday night then we'll see you there. We decided for us that was the best night for palo. We didn't want to dress up and the menu was our least favorite.

Good morning - where is everyone?? Only 16 more days!!! Quick question - I am trying to decide what to do. Is everyone planning on dressing up on pirate night or not?

We're going to Pirate Night wearing pirate t-shirts my wife found online. And whatever DCL gives you when you walk in.

Yes, my family is dressing up. Me, DH, 4 year old DD, and 8 month old DS. I know that my sister in law and her DH and 3 year old DD are also dressing up.

We got the rest of our costumes in the mail yesterday. What fun! The kids (and probably me too) will use them again at Halloween.

We have 7:00 Palo reservation. When I first got on line to make reservations, I had intended to only make reservations for the Brunch. When that was not available, I made the dinner reservations (at the time there seem to be plenty) and picked Wednesday being the 4th day of our rotation. I still would like to get the Brunch. After hearing what everybody tells about Palo, I think I am going to keep the dinner reservation even if I am lucky to get a Brunch reservation on board.

DH and I are wearing pirate t-shirts, and DD7 is wearing a costume (sort of). She is wearing a peasant-looking top and skirt, and she will wear the bandanna and eye patch and carry a plastic sword. I guess she will be a "pirate wench"!

my significant other and i are both dressing up. we're both wearing homemade pirate costumes. mine's just a striped shirt, black capri pants, teva sandals (for the ergonomic pirate!) and a pirate hat i ordered online ($3.95!) she's wearing a pirate chick outfit, red skirt (she's sewing from halloweeny fabric) black shirt and the bandana DCL provides. so we didn't spend too much time or money on our outfits but i'm really looking forward to it. dress up, it'll be fun, c'mon do it!

We won't be dressing up either. My husband is not the costume type and I wanted to save money for SHOPPING!! So we are just going to wear tropical type clothes. I am excited to see everyone else dressed up though. I was wondering though if the Pirate show starts at 9:45 how are the second seating people supposed to get there to see it if dinner takes and hour and a half? We might just skip dessert and have it on the dessert buffet.

Another doc-less day has passed. Maybe they'll come tomorrow. One cabin that is sailing with us got theirs so at least we know they are on the way!

We are dressing up. We made our "costumes" by putting together piratey items that we already owned. You gotta get in the spirit! PLUS, we will be at Carlos 'N' Charlie's prior to the pirate dinner so I'll really have no inhibitions by the time the deck party rolls around!!!!!!!

FLTink! Who got their Docs? It sure wasn't meeeeeeeeeee I will be throwing something together to wear pirate night. Since FLTink and I were unable to find th "pirate section" of any store, I will just have to make do with something else. I figure how many time in a year do you get to dress silly and make a fool out of yourself and get away with it. I do it often, I'm just not getting away with it

Two weeks from tomorrow I will be on the plane... that makes it official... VACATION!
