September '09 PTR ~ A trip full of WONDERful firsts! UPDATED 10/12 TR STARTED!

aww--its getting torwards that season of cold/flu w/ the fall! well at least get that cold out of the way now before Disney! hehe..
See... I don't know what it is but I can't seem to get into Harry Potter or even begin to read the books haha.. everyones different I just never got into Harry Potter, or Twilight..

Other than that i'm good.. im at work what else is new HAHA
Im just very anxious to get through today and look forward to tomorrow hopefully with some GREAT NEWS!!! If not i gotta work my butt off to get myself a good job and out of the place i'm in..

the weather is crappy here today, rainy, humid, stormy.. made me want to stay in bed.. i'm stuck here for another 5 hrs.. i'm definitley relaxing tonight--last night I found "Finding Nemo" on TV ABC .. omg i was so excited I caught it as it just started..

but WOW what a booooring day

I always liked the Harry Potter movies but I only REALLY got into it last year. I bought the whole set of books and read them over the summer. After that, I was obsessed. I've read Twilight too. They're ok. They don't compared to Harry! I think I'm one of the few girls who cannot stand Edward Cullen! Rob Pattinson is cute but the character himself...UGH.

I watched some of Nemo yesterday too! I saw it was on ABC. That's my favorite Pixar movie.

I hope you hear from a job prospect tomorrow!!!!!! Good vibes

sorry to help answer the question Lynn.. but Beaches and Cream is SOOO YUMMY!! its such a CUTE little place.. its very small inside. but a great atmosphere. its so fun.. reminds you a little of the 50's prime time cafe... we would always eat there growing up.... last year my bf and I tried going but got stuck in Epcot because of lightning. haha.. we thought it be a nice walk to the back of Epcot out and over to Y&B.. but yeh def. give it a try either to eat and ice cream. or even just ice cream... you can do 2 things.. you can sit down.. its table service.. or sit at the cute "soda fountain bar" area.. OR they have a line JUST for takeout.. its so romantic to go order some ice cream at the take out at night.. take it somewhere along the water on the benches.. or anywhere around the pool area its soo beautiful and peaceful at night!

Lynn-it would probably be so nice for you and your husband because you can look over to the spot where you got married from the shore at Y&B Club.. over to SBP.. and the Boardwalk.. I think they still have that rocking bench/chair on the beach front and definitley hammocks..

When I read about it, I was like 'Hmmm, maybe we can try that' And then I saw a picture of it. I'd probably finish a scoop or two and be like 'Ok, that's enough!'

You can vent all you want! Don't apologize! It's ok to hijack my thread , I do it to other people's. I highjacked Lynn's with the whole NSYNC/BSB war.

The battle of the boy bands hijack was super fun!! lol

Hmm other than that.. yesss I totally remembered the BSB/NSYNC discussion that was awesome! LOL I posted that pic of me my boyfriend and Brian Littrell .. and the recent BSB interaction I had was a concert in October 2008that was INSANELY awesome.. although no more Kevin

I've heard you can request songs and try to stump the pianists. I'm a big NKOTB fan so I'll probably be requesting those songs! Or maybe U2! I've been waiting for them to tour again for 4 years and when they're in my area...I'll be in Florida! Can't be too upset though, I'll be cruising to the Bahamas that night!

I'm good today! I have a cold so this weekend, I've just been hanging out. I'm re-reading the Harry Potter series. I got halfway through the first book yesterday.

And I need to re-read the books. I read the first five and a half (never finished the 6th). I just finished watching all the movies though. Finally saw the 6th! It was quite interesting because I remembered some stuff but then towards the end, it was all new!! lol

I will take extra pictures of the cruise because I've never been on DCL! I was looking through old pics last night and found a picture I took on a cruise a few years back. I was on the Norwegian Dawn and we were next to the Disney Wonder in port and I snapped a couple pics of it! I remember saying 'I want to be on that ship one day!'

DISNEY DAY 5

This is cruise day!

We have an 8:45 ADR at WCC this morning. Prior to that we'll be packing up the car and after breakfast we'll check out of WL, get in the car, and head over to the port. I'm hoping to get there around 11:30. I want to at least beat the resort buses there.

Since I've never sailed with DCL before, I plan on spending the waiting time taking pictures of everything in the port. I know the characters come out for photo ops too so hopefully I can get a picture with them. Then it will be time to board the Disney Wonder!

I really don't know what to expect from this day lol. It's all new to me! I know we're going to have lunch of the ship, probably at the buffet so we can be outside. We're meeting up with DISers from our cruise thread meet at 2:30 by the Goofy Pool. We'll hang out, have a Goombay Smash , and then get to hear that wonderful horn and off we go!!

I think this is the day I'm most excited about because it's going to be a brand new experience!

sounds like you'll be doing exactly what i did last year, i took stupid amounts of photos of the terminal. just dont do what i did, fill the camera up with terminal and ship photos, then run out of memory at the start of the sailaway party

if you get there at 11.30 ish, chances are you wont have much of a wait in the port, they start boarding about 11.45, so by the time you check in you'll be ready to board!!

we're going to head to parrot cay again i think for lunch, i've heard that everyone heads up to deck 9, and BBB gets very crowded and its hard to find a seat. plus we enjoyed having a nice sit down lunch.
