I'm set to book our trip Sept. 23-30 at CBR with DH, DD (4). Hubby thinks we should wait until May '07 when DD will be 5. Is it more/less crowded end of Sept or mid-May. Also, is it as hot both months? Thanks. :confused3

I usually go in May and Sept. and there are advantages to both. May is usually more crowded. The Food and Wine festival is going on. Crowds are still very manageable. May is usually hotter, it does get up to the low 90's. I live 2 hours north and we've already reached 90 this month. September can get really hot as well and it is during hurricane season. I personally like Sept. better. In Sept. you can get free dining!

sept will start the food/wine festavial this year :thumbsup2

may is the flower/gardner festavial....

both have some great concerts.

May can be a little warmer - but sometimes Sept is - hard to predict.

Sept is generally not as crowded - but if WDW kepts moving the food/wine into Sept - those days might be gone....

also kept in mind this year you will quality for the FREE DINNING in Sept!!!!

I was there last May and also last Sept. Crowds weren't bad in May, but were even better in Sept. The parks were empty in Sept. (but the restaraunts were packed, due to the free dining). There are trade offs for both.

May is prettier with the flower festival. I had no rain, and temps weren't bad.
Sept you get fewer crowds, free dining, rain every afternoon, hotter temps, and the parks are not as pretty. Sept also has a chance of hurricanes.

I enjoyed both however and this year am going May 21-28th and Sept 22nd-30th.
