I LOVE planning our WDW vacations, but I'm sort of stuck right now.

I usually pick one PS per day, maybe character, maybe not. We'll have a full kitchen for our stay, but seem to only use it for breakfast and late night snacks. Although, we usually have frozen pizza in the freezer "just in case".

I match my PSs with the park that we plan to be in that day, but we do have PAPs so resort/park hopping is possible. We also have a rental car so it's fairly easy to get from resort to resort.

Although I like to have a "plan", I don't like to feel overly committed while at WDW. Our party will be DH, DM, DS9, DS4, and myself. We usually eat at "off" times so that our "big" meal covers breakfast/lunch or lunch/dinner.

Ok, here's my concern - with the free dining for Sept, how important do you think it is to have PSs for everyday?

I usually LOVE Sept crowds and I really like that it is USUALLY possible to get into restaurants fairly easily. I would like to stick to having 1/2 of our days including a PS and taking care of the other half while we're there. Do you think we'll be ok just stopping in a few hours before we want to eat and making a PS then? (we've been fine with this in the past)

Oh, I know we'll all just be guessing at this, but I'm looking for some DISers to either tell me I'm crazy for not having a PS for everyday or that I PROBABLY will be fine.

Thanks!!!!!

If I were going in Sept. -- with the free dining plan -- I'd be making the PS/ARs for any/all table service meals. I have 2 DDs (one 7, the other will be 8 in August) and while they usually do well in line for rides (usually), they aren't too excited about waiting around to be seated for a meal. We were fortunate when we went to Whispering Canyon and had to wait -- I could keep them entertained with the lincoln logs and wandering around the lobby. Those options aren't available everywhere.

When I called for my PSs, they asked if I was using the dining plan (we're not). Does that make a difference? Do they have a limited number of PSs for dining plan? If so, then I won't worry (as much). ;)

I've made all of my PS for Sept. also, I don't want to be stuck wanting to get into a restaurant and can't....I'd rather be safe than sorry....you can always cancel a PS when you're at WDW....... :wizard:

PrincessCandaceMarie: May I ask, how many PSs did you make? One per day, everyday, or more or less?
