Sept or Oct?

We did a week long trip last October 22 - 29th 2006.
We had a great time but I thought it was just slightly chilly esp. at night to go swimming. We stayed at All star sports and the pool was supposed to be heated but I thought still chilly. I think another country is on holiday at that time also.
We have the option to go in the end of Sept. Would end of Sept be better then end of Oct?

The end of September will be warmer than the end of October. And histoically, September brings very low crowd levels.

We usually go every October because we find that the crowds, weather, etc. are perfect for our family. However, we come from Alaska so even when it is 60-70 degrees that is warm weather for us

If it works best for you to go in September that would probably be a great time. From what I have read online September seems to be fairly low crowds as well. And if you are looking for warmer weather, the average temp seems to be higher at that time.
