I am the WORST when it comes to making up my mind so, since we all share this interest, I thought I would ask your opinions.

I have two dates picked out to go back to Disneyland. Last weekend in Sept or first in Dec. Both would be quick trips.I want to have a little getaway just for me.

Any opinions?????

Here are a few of my issues:
weather
(it will still be very hot in AZ in sept, but CA might be too cold for me in Dec.)

holidays

time off work/time for Disney
(in sept I would have to take a few hours off and I would get ~6 less hours at Disney)

THANK YOU!

It really is a personal decision.

If it was me, I would go in December. I LOVE Haunted Mansion Holiday & Small World Holiday! I love Eggnog latte at the Bakery. I love fresh Tamales & Chimichangas at the cart in Frontierland that is only open during the Holidays. I love the giant Christmas tree, and taking my photo with "Santa Goofy" - (So, what if I'm 21...those darned little 8 year olds can just wait their turn! ;)) - I love the SNOW!

September is fun, and it is hard for me to really decide, since I go at least once a week anyways, BUT, if I were to move away and could only come one time of the two, then Christmas would be it. I do like the lack of crowds in September, but it isn't really all that bad at the beginning of December anyways.

I've always preferred coming home to Cali in the winter. My grandmother used to live in Mesa, AZ, and we would go there for Christmas, but it was just too warm in AZ for me to feel "Christmassy." (Not a word? What? Not in the Dictionary? Eh, doesn't matter to me. :)) (Sorry Mr. Harutunian - English Teacher;))

Either choice will offer you lots of fun...just remember that no matter what you can't see the "normal" Haunted Mansion, as it will either be down for furbing in September, or already converted.

I agree, DL in December is the best. We usually go in May and November at Thanksgiving. Santa arrives on Thanksgiving Day and getting the kids pictures for grandma there is the best.

We have also been in November during the first two weeks and it was so much fun to come to the park each morning and see what decorations had arrived overnight! Haunted Mansion is Awesome and not to be missed so if you go make sure it is not under rehab for the overlay.

Thinking of the special food only at Christmas is making me hungry. We have not decided if we are going to make it this year since we spent a week at WDW and a week on DCL. It was the best vacation but made us miss Disneyland too. We shall see what happens.....but I can smell the air and feel the snow thinking about it.

As for weather in December it can be a little of both cold and hot. Last year we could have worn shorts one day and then it poured awful the next. Whatever you decide......Have a magical time!

Also, the latter part of September is also a time when several rides are being refurbished after a busy summer.

Take a sweater and enjoy early December.
