I just called Disney & that CM knew nothing about it for our Poly reservation. If I knew the code well then she could find it, but otherwise nothing. Have CAA right now.

CdnMom2 - Call back and ask for code BPN. Funny thing is when I called CM didn't know code either, but when I asked if she could look up info on value/moderate rates, she had info on values right in front of her!

JUST called again after reading YOUR post and tada .. no probs. New CM was agreeing there was a new code right away & trying to apply it before I gave her the code you listed. AAARGH Disney CMs! She apologized for the previous call to different CM.
Thanks Dis'ers for the posts so I would try & try again. For the 10 mins aggravation I did just save us $73USD & no CAA card necessary.

Thank you, petchie!! I also just called and got the special for Poly for our 9/29-10/2 anniversary trip. $820 for 3 nights (I had $893 w/AAA discount) and now I don't have to pay to join AAA!

I didn't have the actual code, but I read the info from Intercot to the CM..."Special Offer Room Only Package 8/19/06-9/30/06. Std value rooms $79 reg season, $64 in value season. Std moderate rooms $110 reg season, $99 in value season. Deluxe are $70 off, if available, but the site only listed Poly garden view $245, and WL courtyard view $190, WL woods view $170." A poster in another thread got the discount for Beach Club, so if you're going during this time, try for any resort!

I just saved another $250 off my Poly room. It is a general code to APs are not needed.

Since Disney seems to be filling the excess rooms with this general code, it makes you wonder if there are not going to be any AP codes this year for September. Are we going to see another blacked out September for AP holders like in 2004? Seems strange for Disney to offer general codes before AP holders and FL residents. Seems as though those groups will just get what rooms are leftover that the current codes does not fill. I have a bad feeling about this...anyone else? I don't need an AP room, since we booked the free dining, but will need one for October, but am already planning to pay rack at a value resort if we are blacked out again this October like last year.

I don't have an AP right now but totally agree. Even if exact same discount, should have been released to AP holders first, as their perk, even if just a week before goes public to FL res and General.

Can't you book this current rate? I thought check in had to be by Sept. 30 so if you arrive Sept. 29th, you should get the discount for your entire stay?? that's how it usually works.

Yep it does, it is the check in date that is important.

Looks quiet goof for AP rates as well then, if they have relased a general rate it would mean they need the bookings, so an AP rate may follow

We just booked 4 night WL concierge for 1338 for 4 nights, saving a total of 312, hopefully that AP rate will come out soon as well.

Im currently on the phone to a CM who is telling me that the code only applies for the 1st 10 days of my booking and that the last 4 days will have to be rebooked without the code. We're staying from 26/9-10/10

You could try calling another CM. I always read that you can book a package for 10 days only, but didn't think there were restrictions on a room only reservation. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

try 3:
the start for a few days.
9/30 thru 10/9
and then one for 10/10
you'd probably save some money
have them linked.
