Sept / Oct 2011

I am just about ready to book our ADR's - I think I have thought more about these meals than the rest of our holiday.

As our kids are disney adults but eat very little I think they will eat from the childrens menu at some places, that we will pay OOP for and they will possibly share some, this will give us additional credits for more meals. Trouble is, I dont know when and where I can fit these in. They are adamant not to do character meals, literally ROFL when I suggested it.:rotfl::rotfl:

This is how I have it - arriving late Fri so no meal here but will have 1 days credits to use later.

Saturday - Animal Kingdom - Dinner Boma

Sunday - Water Park - Dinner Ohana - Evening EMH at Magic Kingdom

Monday - Epcot - Dinner at San Angel Inn

Tuesday - DHS - Dinner at 50s Prime Time

Wednesday - Magic Kingdom - Lunch Tonys Town Square,
Dinner Whispering Canyon

Thursday - Free morning, pick up hire car, shopping, water park or DHS-
Dinner Mama Melrose -F! package

Friday - Free morning, maybe shopping or 2nd vist to Epcot, (perhaps rocket launch at Cape Canavera:confused3l)-
Lunch Saana,(want to eat overlooking the savanah)
Dinner Narcoosees (table for 2:hug:)

Saturday - Final day - leaving early for Kennedy Space Centre.

Once I have these locked in I wont have anything to do for the next six months, all my decisions are made. Except I am desperately addicted to DIS and have to check in at least a couple of times a day!

Well, I'm still desperately hoping that the October park hours are released before I reach my ADR window (in 2 weeks and 5 days ) and that TGM has done his least crowded park charts. However, if the LCP charts are the same as last year, here is my current plan.

Thu Day 1 - Arrive late so probably no dinner but, if so, will be CS at POR

Fri Day 2 - A rest day today so, if we do a TS, it will most likely Raglan Rd at Downtown Disney. However, I really would like to eat at Epcot more than one night so might possibly go in for an early Biergarten dinner

Sat Day 2 - AK with pre-park opening Donald's Safari Breakfast

Sun Day 3 - MK with pre-park opening Crystal Palace Lunch

Mon Day 4 - EP with Princess lunch at Akershus and later, after a break back at hotel, dinner at San Angel Inn

Tue Day 5 - Water park day so will be a TS dinner somewhere. Maybe one at DD or EP. Would like to try a restaurant at another Disney hotel but transport sounds too complicated

Wed Day 6 - HS with lunch at Sci-Fi Diner

Thu Day 7 - Maybe MK again in the morning but certainly Mama Melrose Fantasmic dinner in HS

Fri Day 8 - Rest or Waterpark (pick up car today) and then MNSSHP at night. Will need to do a TS at Disney that night I guess.

Sat Day 9 - Check out and hopefully drive to Cape Canaveral for rocket launch :woohoo:

So my problem is that, although we have 9 days of free Disney Dining, I actually only have 6-7 definite TS that we want to do. All the rest we'd be happy to have CS!

hey WAMUM, we are flying vegas to NY as well. what price did you get?

well done on all the reservations everyone.

Hey, where are you all staying in WDW? I am still undecided.

We are WDW first timers but recommended and staying at POP

Sept 17-29:cheer2::yay::banana:

Just figured out Ticker,,,,, feel part of Disney now.... yippee
Waiting for 180 days to book Dinning...
Does anyone know if it the same with Universal?

We are also first timers, but as a family of five we have to get two rooms -so we had to go with a value resort, we are at Pop -

Honestly cant see us being there much its just somewhere to lay our heads and shower. We would have stayed off site except we could get free dining by staying on site.:)

Marvel we are not going to vegas this year we went last year i was using the qoute button and it didn't work. Have been trying to get my DH to let us go to DL instead if DW but with no luck then we would of been going to Vegas.
Also once we get there we drive our whole trip my DH likes to see the country side and the benefits are that we can stop when we see something we like.

Looks like you will be there when we are:banana:
Although, I have been considering moving to Port Orleans - because it looks so beautiful :rolleyes1- this is what happens when you have to much time up your sleeve and your planning is done - you want to change things :rotfl:

I doubt this will happen though, as I really can't justify the added expense as we need two rooms. We could fit in one room with a trundle, or air mattress, which would be cheaper than two rooms at POP- but five of us in one room, one being a sixteen year old girl

I need to get a life!!

hey WAMUM, sounds like we need to travel together! We love to drive and will be driving from NY to Florida this time. I get a blast just getting gas ! already using US terminology. :lmao:

Hey All

I get to book my ADR's on Sunday night... this is what I am thinking:

Arrival Day: Via Napoli (Dinner)
Day 2: Hollywood Brown Derby - Fantasmic Package
Day 3 - Tusker House (Breakfast)
Day 4 - Yatchman's Steakhouse (Dinner)
Day 5 - No table service meal today - Water Park & MNSSHP
Day 6 - Les Chefs de France (Dinner)
Day 7 - Boma (Dinner)
Day 8 - Crystal Palace (Breakfast - early entry)
Day 9 - Le Cellier (Dinner)
Day 10 - 1900 Park Fare (Breakfast)
Day 11 - Departure Day no table service today

I know I have 3 Signature meals in there, but I think we will just pay for a couple of the breakfasts to cover this.

I am not sure about Boma either :confused3 - this will be a new one for me...Am a little concerned about getting there (we will not have a car at Disney). Also new is Yatchman's and Via Napoli.

Very excited that Monday is a public holiday here in Melbourne - so it won't matter that I have to stay up late to make the bookings!

Any opinions or thoughts appreciated!

My list is similar to yours for a lot of meals!

Cool plan, how exciting. I'm two weeks behind you for my booking date! For MNSSHP you might be able to book Crystal Palace for an early dinner, perhaps 5pm? But I'm guessing you would like to go to get into MK before opening!

Yes, the Crystal Palace booking is so we can get into park before opening. Also, my last dinner at CP wasn't that great - so in no hurry to return. And...don't want to "waste" time doing a sit down meal at the party - we will just grab counter service that night.

Do you have all your park days mapped out yet? I have the majority done, will just need a little fine tuning.

Good luck with yours!

I think I have them worked out. I hope! I worked with Touring Plans. Pretty happy. Feel like I need a couple of more days though..

Saturday 24th - MK (this is meant to be a not good MK day, but we want to get to the castle first.
Sunday 25th - Epcot
Monday 26th - Shopping. Going up to Florida Mall (DD wants to go to M&Ms, me Sephora)
Tues 27th - MK and MNSSHP
Wed 28th - HS. DH is going to Kennedy Space Centre.
Thurs 29th - AK and trying for a pvt Illuminations Pontoon/Cruise that night.
Fri 30th - What ever we want. Go back to favourites.
Sat 1st - Breakfast only at MK. Then the fly home. 1st Oct is MK's 40th Birthday. And we will be there. Can't believe the luck on that one.

Sounds good to me but i will be home when you get there :sad2:
We are all over the place this trip and do some back tracking but that's ok.

But if you wanted to do a trip with us you would have to have a love for motor sport so far we are going to 7 nights of sprintcar speedway and 1 night of Nascars and if my husband can find more where we go he will fit it in:scared1:
I found it so weird having to pay for gas first in so many places the first time we went to 3 pumps thinking they were broken :laughing:before someone told us we had to pay first they must of thought we were idiots :dance3:

Just so you can update my dates. We are at POR from 07/09/11-16/09/11 and AKV-Kidani from 16/09/11-19/09/11.

So excited  I will post my ADR's when I get home from work.

I can't believe how many of us are going :cheer2:.

Yes, I'm thrilled to be part of this group! As you can see from my ticker, I have been on these boards planning this trip for quite a while (Pluto is only about half way to Mickey and yet we are going in nearly 6 mths!). Last year, I was here and reading the Sept/Oct 2010 thread but not part of it so it feels so exciting to be part of this year's group!
