Anyone out there ever been?? Wondering how things work for this event. I know it is a hard ticketed event, but wondering about things like when they let you into the park with these tickets, how many stages do they have set up, are most of the rides running, how much time did you spend riding rides vs. listening to concerts, and most of all was it worth it??

We love Christian concerts, and it seems to team that up with Disney would be the perfect combo. Considering it for this year if I can get any info! Thanks!!! :)

My wife and I went to this past September's Night of Joy, and I don't think we would go again.

I don't remember what time the party started, but we were allowed in about an hour before the start time of the event. They may have allowed people in earlier, but we got there an hour before. We got a lot of rides in during that hour!

We didn't want to see that many acts, either. We saw Donnie McClurken on the castle forecourt stage and CeCe Winans at the Tomorrowland theatre. The castle stage wasn't bad at all. There was plenty of space to move around - but the Tomorrowland theatre? It was AWFUL! They tried to cram WAY too many guests in there. I'm not at all claustrophobic, but I HAD to leave because I started to get REALLY anxious.

And after that initial hour or so? The rides were AWFUL. Too many kids were having a great time unsupervised. I can't tell you how many times I got run down just walking down the pathways, and they were just screaming and generally behaving really poorly in the ride queues.

We didn't stop at any of the other stages. (Adventureland, Frontierland - did I miss any of them?) But based on my experiences in Tomorrowland - I don't think I'd go back.

We did it last Sept 04 and we had a great time. My daughter was there to catch the acts, but the rest of us were there for the rides and the atmosphere and both were great.
