Bummer. Doesn't look like I'll be able to upgrade to CL like I was hoping. I'll still call in the morning to see if I can apply RO to our current reservation, but I'm not feeling quite as optimistic.

We are booked at BWI in a standard room Dec 4-8....
I just checked and the only discount availability on the Epcot loop is at the YC with a lagoon view......and it saved us money...not much...but money!
So we took it!

Make sure you are going to the special offers page first. It won't give you the discount if you just check your dates on the home page.

And I just booked our first ever deluxe hotel! WL! It's only for one night after our cruise but super excited! Wanted to surprise the DH with Contemporary but its not included but still happy!

You have to go to the special offers on the disneyparks website and click on the link for the room discount offer.

i feel the same way... hoping maybe they have not completely "updated" the system yet and we can still add a discount of our current reservation... Im sad now =(

I can't decide if I should just keep my full price reservations at POFQ or switch to Coronado Springs and save $340

Just wanted to make sure everyone saw it.

ETA: It looks like they are blocking the AoA family suites during the two weeks they consider to be the heaviest for school Fall Breaks, among other date ranges.

Try again. When I first went on it still had the summer discounts. I just looked again & it only had the new offers. There is a view all special offers button. I'd look around for that! It shouldn't make a dif but I'm on an iPad. What are you on?

So many are talking about calling. What if I want to book online? Anyone known when these promotions are usually available on the website?



But this isn't the free dining thread...

Its the same for RO discounts, having a reservation doesn't actually help you ... there is a block of rooms and room types assigned to each resort participating that are included in the promotion. Essentially if you call and "apply" the discount to your reservation, you are just switching your reservation to one of those rooms.

You would have the same experience if you just booked a new reservation.

Trying for the Poly but it's only available for 4 of our planned 5 nights Anyone know if we can call in to book and pay rack rate for the last night, or would it require 2 separate reservations?

Why would you take the full price POFQ when that's included in the RO? Maybe I'm misreading?

POFQ doesn't have any availability for my week although I just checked day by day and the first 2 days of my vacation have availability so I'm going to call in a few hours and see if I can get the first couple days at the discounted rate. I have no idea if this is possible but it's worth a try for $100.

Would this be considered split stays and require changing rooms mid vacation? I'm all about saving money but if it requires checking in and out I'd rather spend that time in parks and will just pay full price.

Woo! So glad to be able to book tonight. I was able to get my 5th choice, YC-LV for Nov 30 to Dec 7. Didn't seem to a lot availability at this point.

Any one know If the odds are good that one of my other choices might open up in the next couple months?

Now time to go get my ticker set for my signature, as now I can declare this vacation real. First time going outside of September/October.
