Sept. Construction at Poly

We will be arriving at the Poly at the end of Sept. Does anyone know which bldg will be under renovation at that time? Trying to decide which bldg to request. Also, due to construction, which bldgs are smoking? We cannot take smoke-allergies-and have already put non-smoking on our request. Thanks for the help!

If you're the war eagle fan I think you are- remember the "hey days?" A big ole WAR EAGLE to ya!! (class of '90) And we'll be there at the end of September with the same request you have!! (we have two children with severe allergies to smoke and are asthmatic)...the Samoa building has just been renovated and while it used to be smoking will now be non-smoking- I was thinking this would be the best bet since it's newly refurbished and they did according to reports gut the place.
Tikiman's site is very very thorough and lists several good options that are non-smoking. Some other considerations would be if you'd like to be close to a pool or to the TTC. We plan to fax a request 4 days prior to staying and simply request the most non-smoking room they could find- that's our number 1 priority and if they could fill that I don't care how far we have to walk! Have a great trip- and my dh will probably wear one of his many AU shirts for the trip- hope to bump into y'all!! (9/23-9/30)

War Eagle to you too. My DH will be doing some of the same. We stay in Nuie last year for 11 nights and loved being in the smallest building. We had a great Mousekeeper and were disappointed that we wouldn't be in the same building this year. We are scheduled to stay one night at AKL Savannah view just to see what it is like but then we move to Poly for 8 nights. Our kids don't want to really stay anywhere else because of the pool.

We had decided this morning to ask for Samoa as well since its the next closest to the GCH and has nice views.
