Sept. Challange! Lets go!

Ladies- You are putting me to shame!!! You guys are on a roll! I went cropping last night and finished a whopping 2 and half pages!!! How do you all manage to get so many pages done so quickly?

Before I do anything, I look for page ideas in magazines to warm up. Then, I spend a lot of time grouping my pictures and matching them to paper and embellishments in advance. I do this on a night when I am feeling like making a big mess and when I feel creative. I stack these "layout packets" in a box.

If I know what I want to do and what I'm using, the actual pages go fast. I can just go to the box and with little mess or bother, put a layout together. Sometimes I make changes, but this system works pretty well for me and it also cuts down on what you have to haul with you to a crop!

Just bumping this up...I am on page 23 right now, but that is pitiful compared to the rest of you! LOL...You guys are too fast for me! LOL

I added 2 more to my total this week. That makes 10. I have been experimenting with some new techniques. It's not getting pages done but it will make for some new ideas.

You guys are amazing! I haven't really had the time to scrap much. I think I've only managed about 7 pages. I went to the not-so-local scrapbook store today and bought a bunch of supplies, which tends to motivate you a bit. I'm planning to attend a crop next Friday at the store. I'm thinking I just may make Friday nights MY night and drive the distance to crop. I keep spending my time scrapping on my current pictures and NEVER get to my old ones. I just feel so darned overwhelmed.

I went to a crop tonight. Not really sure how many pages I completed. We cropped from 6:00 to midnight. I'm tired now, but I'll count them up tomorrow. Sure was fun!

I hate to even say how little I have done! I think I have a total of 5! I just can't seem to get the creative juice speed going!
I went to a crop yesterday and started my Disney album! that was fun!

Well ladies...I had my CM party friday and have been croppin ever since. I finished last years vacation.....yee haw!!!

So heres this weekends total....15 more done.

So that puts me at 56 pages in Sept. I am so happy, I dont care if I win I am just so glad to be getting somewhere with this hobby.

When I catch up on vacation photos from our 19 day trip this year, I will still have my two rolls of film for my son, and 5 years of my daughter to catch up on.....yikes!!!

2 more last night.....I am working on a new technique....where you cut a hole in one page to see through to the other....I cut a Mickey head out of the bottom right corner, now I have to make the page before and the page after work into the hole....its fun but time consuming....looks neat though. I think I shall use it again later on in the family book.

anyway I am at 58.....whos working on their books....come on girls lets get scrappin

Well, I have 7 more pages added to my 23, so that makes 30...That will probably be it for this month...You guys are doing wonderful though! 58 pages!! That is excellent, GoofyMom/Pop!! Way to go!!

Add 2 more to my total to bring it up to 12. I am working a a snails pace this month but that's OK. I am still ahead of my goal of 2 pages a week.

I think the fact that my neighbors are all scrapping helps a bunch. Plus we have been to a crop and two CM parties this month alone. Hoping to finish at least two more today or tomorrow as I am doing a spred that includes a mickey hole in the bottom right corner, so I have to plan the page before the hole and the page after the hole.....hope that makes sense.

Having fun..... .....hubby will be traveling most of the next two months so I have lots of time to scrap.

Just did 2 more so I think I'm up to 16. I probably won't get any more done so that's my Sept. total. I'll post if I get some done over the weekend. However... I'm SURE I won't scrap enough to beat some of you! Good job!!

Way to go girl....you got me beat!! I couldnt find time this weekend to work on my books. I am having a pin meet at my home on Sunday and 30 people are coming. So needless to say the dust bunnies came first this weekend.

I am proud of you...60 pages is GREAT!!!! Way to go!!!!

ok... Total pages this month. SHOOT ME NOW!!!!! 84!

OMG. I am so sick of scrapping Disney - I never thought I would say that! And I still have about 20 pages to go to finish this trip. We took 21 rolls of film and collected 39 ( or 38 I have lost count) autographs, so I had to do 2 books. One 8 1/2 by 11 autograph book, and one 12 x 12 covering the rest of the vacation. I am getting ready to crop Day 5 of 8 - which still means I have day 6 and 7 and 8 WAH!!!!

CINDY - You were going gangbusters all through the month. I have my retreat to thank, not really perserverance. There is no way I would have been in the running without it. It would have been about 30 pages, not where I am now. So, Hats off to you, BIG TIME!

I will put up the October Challenge page ASAP since it appears I won hosting duties. Til then HAPPY CROPPING
