Most everyone is heading to WDW prior to the cruise. Where is everyone staying before the cruise. My vacation starts in 2 weeks.

Roll call of who is still active in the forum, and really excited.


Who has or has not cruise on DCL before?

We are going to Disney after the cruise, we are flying down on Wednesday night, staying at Country Inn & Suites. After the cruise staying until Wednesday at Bay Lake Towers(we own DVC at Animal Kingdom Villas- but we only have a few days so we wanted to be "closer to the action". I will be at Bay Lake/Contemporary for a Scrapbooking vacation with friends this Wednesday until Sunday too. Cannot wait!!!
This is our 3rd Disney cruise- 1st was Eastern-2007, 2nd was Western-2009.

We are joining idrivealumina, bekka, and oienfam5 (although not staying at the same resort we are staying at Saratoga Springs Resort) starting on labor day until the cruise then driving to the port.

We will be back to disney a week later (the 18th) for our annual MNSSHP. After that we have to wait until the first weekend in Oct so that one of the guys who works for me can re-enlist in Epcot. So a fairly busy Disney couple of months for us.

We had a "Family" reunion with idrivealumina's family in june (we met on our last cruise) I had to miss the first 5 days our the week long family reunion to do this:

These were test missle fires for a strategic missle tests.

Oh well I still got 2 days with them and then we all have a nice cruise together with many of us joining one another at the World....

We are beyond excited! Not only is it our Honeymoon , but even better it is DISNEY!!! We will be at the Contemporary the 6th, 7th & 8th. Taking the Disney bus to the port.

This will be my Gold cruise on DCL! Whoo Hoo! I have been on 3 4 days and one unbelievable 7 day Western. My DH has never been to WDW or on DCL before, so I am even more excited to share my special places with him.

Can't wait to meet you all!

Does anyone have a photo of this exchange? Or know where I can find one? We would love to participate, but it is our first time hearing about it today.

At the moment our stateroom is 6544, but it is a connecting room, so we are hoping for an upgrade.

Any words of wisdom, stories of old would be VERY MUCH appreciated.

Hi!

Here is a picture of our FE from the 5 Night Cruise a couple of years ago.

This is the same FE that we used on the Inaugural Panama Cruise in 2005.
As a bit of background, it seems that the 05 PC cruise was the first to have the FE and they were suggested by EpcotKilterFan.
She was nice enough to give us this one. It has a place of honor in our MickeyRoom at home.

james'mommy has not posted in the forum or answered private messages since febuary. I hate to say it but we may just delete their name from our list since we have no idea of their family size ages genders or heck any information.

I have sent an email with the complete FE list. I have tried to update the first post with all of these updates. So make sure you look there if you waiting to hear back on something.

I dropped james'mommy as I have no information for her and she has not replied to PM's, emails or posts in the thread. I can only imagine that something came up on her end and she will not be with us.

We have been on on Disney cruise before. We took the trans Atlantic in April of this year... 14 wonderful days ... I highly recommend it...
