Sept 7th 10 night anyone else cruising?

Hi, we will be going too! myself, dd, dson-in-law and my first grandbaby, he will be 14 months old. I am so looking forward to this cruise. I can't believe i'll be going to the southern cairb. and do not have to fly into puerto rico. This will be our 7th disney cruise, but first with a toddler, so i'll probably have lots of questions regarding traveling with him. I'ts going to be a blast!!

Well we are my DH, DD who will be two and our DS who will be 10 months at the time of the cruise and me DM we are booked in a cat 12 but were told we would be in at least a cat 11 since cat 12s only fit 3. It sure is nice that they let you pay the cat 12 rate for a 11 or better stateroom. :goodvibes

I will be the "keeper" of the cruise roster. So if everyone who joins in this thread will post their "crew" details and cabin type, I'll keep track. And I will add the new ones as they find this thread. Evntually I'll get together an e-mail group list for us.

Am I stepping on any toes volunteering for this?

Marilee :flower:

Not mine. :goodvibes

Our cabin will be myself, DH, DD who will be 14 and DS who will turn 8 on 9/9. We are booked in a Cat 8 on Deck 7 (7004) and my parents DM (pbinman) and DF are booked in (7006) connecting rooms.

Oh and edited to add... we are set for early dining in case you want to track that as well.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I had a design idea for either door signs or a tshirt. Will continue to work on it this weekend and then will post it for a vote.

News on the "move to florida" front. DH still hasn't heard about the position he applied for (the one he put in for is a paid move position but he could always lateral transfer) However, I did get a call yesterday for an interview for a job that I had applied for. :Pinkbounc If I were to get this position and he didn't then we will still move and he will just lateral transfer rather than get the promotion he put in for.

Hi Everyone

Miss Eeyore
It will be my dh, dd 14 and ds 8 myself and my mother in law
We are booked in a Cat 12 We were booked in a 9 but my mother in law begged not to leave her behind So we are putting dd with her so that means more money for us
Inside better then nothing
Never been on the Wonder been on Magic twice Is there a big difference

We're looking at the 10-night simply because the dates work better for us. I'm still waiting for my wife to give me the go ahead to book (it always comes down to the wife ;)

I know the feeling, hope to book it soon. Will have to pull the kid out of school but what a better education than to cruise the Caribbean with Mickey.

Juliette,

Our children will be the exact same ages. It would be great if DD's could exchange letters or something in the meantime so that they would have a friend on the ship. DS really loves the kid clubs but DD is "worried" about any teen activities. Is your DD planning to use the teen center at all?

It will be central Florida. The company is actually located about 40 miles from Disney I guess so anywhere in that radius. We are on pins and needles waiting to find out. :Pinkbounc

In the meantime we are planning on being on the cruise and may decide to do it anyway... we so enjoyed our first cruise in March.

We are also on the 10 day cruise, after all it's the first 10 day cruise for the Wonder. Alex and Carolyn. Cabin 6574. Main seating. I just found this thread today. We live in central FL so let us know if you have any questions about moving to the area. We love it here. A little over an hour to the port, less than an hour to WDW. We've enjoyed our two dozen DCL cruises and we are looking forward to this cruise and meeting everyone. Alex :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Thanks Alex! As soon as we find out for sure I know that we will have many questions. Are you going on both the 10 and the 11 day? I'd love to do that!!! We actually were torn between the two but decided to go with the 10 night as my DS will have his birthday on board. Figured how often do you get to turn 8 on a DCL ship ???

Glad to "meet" you and look forward to getting to know everyone better throughout the next 12 months and then having a great DIS meet on board!

:wave2: Hello to all.....I will be heading into my travel agents office this next week to book the 10nt for myself and my mother-in-law. We have done 2 DCL together both 7nt Eastern and Western, we feel we are ready to graduate to the 10nt. I will be booking a cat 6 (I have become addicted to
the balcony suites). Wish we had more days at sea and less ports but I will take what I can get.
Happy cruising one and all... :thewave:

Welcome DianeDisney.

We have never had a day at sea yet. Our first cruise was a 3 night. What do you like most about the days at sea? I know that one thing I'm looking forward to is a Palo brunch.

It will be my husband and myself and 2 daughters age 10 and 8 and we will be doing main seating and will be in cat 9.

I love the idea of the kids doing letters or something before to get friends so if anyone has 2 girls close to age 8 and 10 we would love to get a PM and do letters.

Welcome Kristin!

My DD is currently 13 but loves to have pen pals so if that is something you are interested in pm me. Last cruise DD was a little intimidated that "she didn't know anyone there." until I reminded here that none of the other kids did either. :rotfl: The letter writing does help to feel like you already have friends on the ship. Afterall isn't that what the DIS is all about. :grouphug:

We will also be in main dining. :Pinkbounc

Hello everyone! We just wanted to say hello and introduce ourselves. My wife (Monica) and I (David) are booked for the 10 day Southern Caribbean on the Disney Wonder. In July, I was on the West Coast Disney Magic itinerary and had so much fun it was time to book another one. We hope to get to know everyone in the next year or so and look forward to hearing the cast member announce our name as we enter this ship in September 0f 2006.

Our Vacation begins in 380 Days!

Anyone have any girls that will be around age 10 and 8 for the cruise. My 2 daughters would love to get to know some of the girls before we go.

Yes we are. Not only are we hooked on DCL, but we have done all the "firsts" and the 11 day is another first. We did the west bound repo for 14 days and stayed onboard for the first West coast 7 day cruise. You don't have to be crazy, but it helps. Alex :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
