WOW one time our magical express paper work went to a CA address that we had not lived at in over 8 years and never used that address for WDW. I wonder if they just picked up the wrong address. I assume you are not waiting for your state room number which could slow up the paperwork.
Maybe you need to leave milk and cookies out for the mail person!

We do have a new mail person, mail definately comes later in the day now. This is the only address DCL has ever had for us. We have had our stateroom number since 2011 as well. We are coming in by train and will only have carryons so the documents aren't really necessary.

Oh yeah, We got our docs! They were in the mail when I got home. So there goes my theory about order related to when you booked.

I think it's really cool too! I could spend all day surfing the web looking a Disney stuff, have for years. How did I miss this?
Well, better late than never.
We booked last September through AAA. We have not yet received our docs. Not worried, I try not to sweat the small stuff.

I wanted to invite you to a Mother / Daughter Luncheon I'm planning. In fact on this cruise (I'm on 3 B2B2Bs from 9/2-9/17) we have all adults. If you and your mom would like to join us we could move from Lumiere's to Palo for Brunch in a Private room that only takes 12-14. So far we have 10 and I've invited one other newcomer and we can't fax in a request until we have 12. If you think you would like to join us then please give your full name, your mom's full name, your room number and your reservation number so that I can link us all to get the Palo reservation. You can always PM the reservation number if that makes you more comfortable. And, if you think you would like to join us please let me know asap as I have to fax in the request right away.

I updated and reformatted the file last night for myself. Color coded the children's cells either blue or pink to make it easier to reference, and combined some columns to fit across the page without shrinking the font size. It is setup to print in landscape, and the header row will repeat on the 2nd page. There are 49 adults and 13 children. I am happy to share with all, but don't know how to send to Eric. I know that there was a concern about too many files floating on the board and folks not having the most up-to-date or accurate version.

Just received cruise documents, am a GTY...no stateroom assigned, the space on luggage tags is blank. I assume that it will update online and will need to fill in manually on tags. Although disappointed not to know stateroom # for FE, we are very excited, it is getting closer to cruise day!

Because I travel often for work and have many travel horror stories, I tend to follow through on travel related concerns having learned from experience that it pays to be cautious. In my previous post I talked about receiving our cruise documents, but no stateroom assignment. Since I have so much to manage at the Port, with the wheelchair, walker, medicine bag, suitcases, plus my mom and daughter, I called the Castaway Club number re the stateroom # and baggage check in. According to the rep, the GTYs will be assigned 2 weeks before sailing. Everything is computerized, so it is not necessary to write the stateroom # on the luggage tags, as they will scan the barcode at the port and the assigned stateroom # will be in the system.

So for your question, I would check to make sure that your old stateroom # is not the one they have in the system for your reservation, so that it can be corrected if necessary, and all goes smoothly for you on cruise day!

Welcome Tegan! I am new to the FE too, but planned for some late joiners, as there was some discussion about that when the cutoff date was identified. Not sure if it is closed if the form is still active, the more experienced FE folks will need to advise. Glad you are joining us!

As for the room, last year I received mine 2 weeks out. When I asked a supervisor if I should write the room number on he said the tags have a bar code but that just to be safe I should still write the number in when I received it.

Great advice, my supervisor said additionally to just add the stateroom number with a Sharpie just to be safe in the event there were any computer issues.

Eric said that he was leaving the form active and that the form time stamps when people join it so that we know who comes in after the 1st. A lot of people make extra gifts so they would def be able to accommodate the late additions. But, some people order a set number of gifts and may not have extra. Either way, you should be able to have fun with us.

Welcome Tegan and crew - glad you find us - this is great place to meet others traveling and to get lots of information. You guys are going to love DCL.

The FE exchange is alot of fun - your DD will love coming back to your cabin and finding surprises waiting for her. It's not too late as long as you know that most people can accomodate adding people to the list after the cutoff, but some may not. We always have extra - the more the merrier in our book!

Welcome...... You are going to enjoy DCL. I have over 100 DLR visits and DH and I are now hooked onDCL.
I don't think you are too late to join FE.
