First, let me say thank you for a Magical cruise and all the amazing FE gifts!
Especially there were highlights of this cruise that made this the better of the 3 B2B2B cruises (9/2, 9/7 & 9/12) we were on...
~ as mentioned, the FE was amazing and your generosity was overwhelming! Thanks

~ the Roaming Gnome made it around to the whole list. Thank you for making it a success! Especially since the 9/2 cruise it didn't make it past day 2, nor to my room at all and it never made it back to the host, Kelly! And on the 9/12 the Gnome stopped at a FE participant next door to me who was not on the list so it was a good thing I saw it and collected it to give to my co-host. I passed the Gnome torch on to a new friend since I was hosting it on this cruise. Thanks again to all who made the Gnome Roam on the Magic!

~ thank you to all the ladies who came to the Mother/Daughter Bruncheon in Palo! It was a nice "girls" day out and a wonderful meal... Oops Magical

Especially since I missed the "Pink" social due to resting my back from a crew incident on the 9/2 cruise. And, saving the best for last... Thanks goes to Maragret (maggiesam) for making those beautiful 'programs' commemorating our Bruncheon! You are an

Not to mention all your other help with the lists and floor plans

~ congratulations to Mike & Ellen on your 19th anniversary! I'm so glad I remembered you from our 2004 cruise! Thanks for including my mom and me in your Palo dinner and brunch ressies! I'm just sorry that me being sent to medical held dinner up a little. Please accept my apologies. And my mom was sad that she had to miss brunch as her arthritis was flared up the next morning. We hope you had a magical anniversary and wish we could share your 20th with you next year!

~ last but not least, thank you to both Ellen/Mike and Tommie/Lee for the beautiful cards celebrating my 20th anniversary of being a Survivor. I can't tell you enough how special they made feel. I cried tears of joy reading those cards, thank you
Just be glad we're not going on the 9/12 sailing. They be accompanied by Leslie.
It actually wasn't that bad
Thank you all for a great trip! Hope to see you on future cruises! Anyone going on the 5/27 Alaska cruise?
Is that one on the Wonder? In order for me to hit my Grand Slam I need to get on the Wonder by May 12th.
A great cruise! So nice to meet many of you, hope you also had a wonderful time.
Margaret, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family!
What a fantastic cruise! And what fabulous weather given all of the Hurricane Leslie worries. Just wanted to echo how nice it was to meet everyone at the meet and greets and around the ship. I also wanted to throw out a special thank you to Linda for making those awesome name tags. The customs guy in New York asked me if I was a crew member when he saw my name tag
Ditto, to the nice weather and great name tags! I used mine on the 9/12 cruise and wished I had it on the 9/2 cruise
The Navigator for Tuesday did say that it was Patriot Day. We could see the Tribute in Light from the ship when we were making our way into port late Tuesday night. I thought that was pretty awesome.
What did the tribute light look like? I wasn't up that early on 9/12. But it took all night to pack my mom on the last cruise and so we got to see the Bridge, SOL and NY all lit up on 9/17. I don't remember a bright light but maybe because we were starboard?
In the United States, Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance (previously Patriot Day, until September 10, 2012)[1] occurs on September 11 of each year, designated in memory of the 2,977 killed in the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. Initially, the day was called the Prayer and Remembrance for the Victims of the Terrorist Attacks on September 11, 2001. When the new name was proposed, it received opposition from Massachusetts, which already had a Patriots' Day.
U.S. House of Representatives Joint Resolution 71 was approved by a vote of 4070 on October 25, 2001. It requested that the President designate September 11 of each year as "Patriot Day". President George W. Bush signed the resolution into law on December 18, 2001 (as Public Law 107-89[2]). It is a discretionary day of remembrance. On September 4, 2002, President Bush used his authority created by the resolution and proclaimed September 11, 2002 as Patriot Day.
Thank you so much for sharing!
We had a great time on this cruise. We met lots of very nice cruisers.
If
DCL returns to NY who will cruise to Canada again. Our DD's and DSIL's would like to cruise to Canada, so if DCL returns we would cruise again. It would be nice if they added port and extended the to cruise to 7 days.
Would definitely cruise again if going from NY, so convenient and less stressful traveling for DD. Thought it interesting that it was referred to as the New England -Canada cruise in some of DCL's marketing materials and would love to visit some New England ports. Had a great time and wonderful memories, met lots of great people.
Ditto both of you, I wished for 7 nights and NE ports instead of just the "coast". With that said, living in Baltimore I'm wishing DCL comes here to our glorious port to make DCL accessible to MD, DC, and the rest of the Mid-Atlantic. That way I would have only a 30 minute ride vs a 4 hour one
Lastly, is anyone doing the DVC Members cruise in January???
Again,

everyone for a Magical cruise!
