Earl is not looking like he will be friendly! And there is another behind him forming. But as long as we get on the ship, we will be fine!

I am very happy we purchased insurance for the trip. Need to make sure we have all of our sea-sick medicine... We had planned to spend most of the time on the ship, but if you booked an excursion not with Disney- start watching and checking their cancellation policy if the ship cannot dock. This should only effect your Nassau plans not booked with Disney.

We are going to have fun no matter what!

I'm sure it will be fine. Our weather guys down here, and the national weather service, are all saying Earl is going to follow the path of Danielle and head right back out to sea. And the timeline is for them to out of the area Tuesday or Wednesday next week, which is a couple days before our cruise.

Yep so far today Earl is cooperating- there are three models out there and only one has him coming towards land, Carolina coast, late next week.

I am going to keep checking daily, because conditions can and do change. Alright, I'll admit I am obsessed with it- the bad thing is I can't tell DH because he still doesn't know about the trip yet! Just trying to act.normal.-nothing to see here- keep moving along- just checking the hurricane site because I find it interesting

One week from today we will be in Florida! Hopefully at either Florida Seafood or Grills with a little bit of beach time thrown in!

Earl is now a Hurricane and will be strengthening throughout the week with projected earliest landfall on Friday, hopefully just a grazing. So far so good for the Bahamas!

i was just wondering is anyone going scuba diving while in nassau? im diving at stuarts cove and was wondering if i could find a dive buddy for the day.

has anyone heard anything about port/ports of call changes? Last night on the news they were saying that some of the other cruise lines were changing their ports of call because of the storms.
